socialism will never work either. it makes the rich become poor, which im sure they dont want.
Socialism does work though to a point. But the key to successful socialism is balancing it with free market capitalism. Europe can afford to be a little less socialistic while the U.S. can probably afford to be just a little more.
Europe has a bloated public sector in many of its countries and protects many of its industries from private competition. This has had a stagnant effect on many economies and heavily red taped their labor markets.
Even the U.S. in some areas can afford to trim some of its public sector. But in other areas, the public sector could use a bit more clout such as in education and healthcare, obviously. The U.S. though is right to encourage private investment and competition between companies. It has a largely deregulated labor market where it is very easy to for anyone to get a job, and increasingly difficult to receive social benefits.
No, communism doesn't work, because it's a war, you see there is really only one of every thing to ever share, more so is that it would be to fight to part people from stuff, even to give other people stuff is a war, cause it makes some happy and others furious, and as in any war the fury and the joy grows, which is wrong in all ways, some strenthen in hate, some in joy, it is unfair: Communism is unfair. On the other hand if it would make the happy unhappy then I guess it would be okay. Now, not to act at all ever, that is fair. if there could only be a right system that could enable that. Basically forbid change. Conservatism, it's called. No change means no happy or sad faces.
Even better would be if there was a right system which faded joy and fury, so that you don't know what is what.
lol wow ur post made me laugh alot ty... but you sir are an idiot... ideally communism is a great concept... but as said before nobody has executed it properly... either way i think socialism is best

that post was funny, but he probably isnt fluent in english which would explain his atrocious sentences. but what your asking for, is to give up what few freedoms you have, all your material possessions and wealth; live where your told to live with people also told to live there, ration everything from food to clothes to soap and shoes, do a job that you didnt choose, and any word of disagreement can bring about punishment from fines all the way to torture and death.
thats a grim socialistic govt, but at some point all govts become corrupt.

The reason why socialism and communism don't work is for one simple reason: no private property.
No one can own anything in a communist or socialist nation. That is what has allowed all previous gov'ts of that sort to devolve into totalitarian states.
thats even worse. id rather go back to the dark ages and the feudal system than have true anarchy, not just international anarchy.
also, everyone who thinks anarchy is good, ahem, is an idiot.

China is considered communist still, but really, with the freedoms the citizens have now, its more like catholic style capitalism. they can own property and such, the only country to still run like old soviet russia is North Korea, and even they have started loosening the iron grip of Kim Jong-Il

Who said it was supposed to be good? everything nice demands something equally bad, that way it evens out. We are products, we have multiples - those are dimensions, if they could be 0 rather then negative or positive, there would be no such thing as hell. Contributed to tranquility.
Can you expound on this. I'm very confused by what you said here.
After reading/scanning all of this, I gotta say, just about everything Muttonchops said is spot on. Except, the U.S. has this stupid thing where they can force you to leave your land and take it by force if they need it for something like oh say a highway. Yea, it's happened even in my town. Lost a good resteraunt because of that.
So even in the U.S. your land belongs to you, but it doesn't at the same time.
