has anyone read any of the inheritance books(all 2 of them)? if you dont know what they are, and most poeple dont, they are eragon and eldest. they are really good books and the third one, brisngr(something like that) comes out in september.
yea ive read both... prolly should read again before brisingr comes out but fuckin a... the movie was god awful
Agreed. The movie did no justice to the book. The inheritance triliogy is oone of the best ive ever read. I can't wait for Brisingr to come out. I'm dying to continue the story.

Yeah, the movie was absolutely terrible ( although it did have some amazing CG, it was nothing like it was supposed to be.) I don't really like these books, though- they're okay, but I've read better. Not to say I won't go buy this when it comes out- I definitely will, simply to support the pen of the new age of writers- but it isn't my first choice.
I love this series and yeah the movie was bad, really really bad.

the movie was bad even if you didnt read the books, and its not a triliogy any more, its a saga i think, 4 books
Where did you hear this???
That is great if it is true.

Give, expecting nothing thereof. ------------ BoD - Come have some fun! Folks will always come and go, so enjoy them while they're meant to be in your life.
Now, the books own the movie. By far. But I can't help to point out that, honestly, people who say the movie sucked are idiots. If the movie sucked COMPARED TO the books, that's okay because it's true, but I honestly still loved the movie. Good action and story (followed tiny bit of the story), though it fell far from the books. Even watching the movie after reading Eragon and Eldest, I still enjoy it, though the books are still better...
I can't wait till September (8th was it?) for the last book (which I cannot remember the name, Brisingr or something?).

I have the book Eragon sitting beside my bed.. Got about 1/3 of the way through and then completely lost interest... It's a good book from what I read, just...yea...

Uhh, no! The movies just suck! Just because there are some people who actually enjoy it doesn't make it not suck!
I'm sure there are a bunch of people out there who enjoy "Meet the Spartan" and "Epic Movies", but that doesn't mean they are good movies,
Btw, I didn't know there were going to be a fourth book. Are you sure they going to make a second film? Just wondering because of how badly the first film did. Maybe it'll go straight to DVD, lol
i read the books, that dude is an amazing writer at just 19. never saw the movie, dont plan on it, but i might pick up the 3rd book if i happen to see it.
ok the movie sucked plain and simple read book first then watch movie again u will be like wtf? this is shit... yes i know there is a eldest movie coming out and on aeglasia.com it says nothing about a fourth book and thats his official sight so id say its still only a trilogy
and yes brisingr is fire in aeglasia (idk how to spell the worlds name)
I kind of doubt that. Most fantasy-loving people probably absolutely loved the movie and looked forward to reading the books (if they liked to read, that is), then would probably enjoy the books more, THEN realize the movie wasn't near as good.

The movie is on the same level as that of Dungeon and Dragon film for all I care (horrible, horrible waste of time).
I saw the movie first, read the books second...
