If you're not being forced to believe something, only forced to learn it, that is hardly a church affair. Homosexuality is a belief just like any religion and should be taught for open-mind purposes. If I build a church to worship Michael Jackson should homosexuality be removed from Washington or California's curriculum because it can be considered a violation of church and state? No, it's just an idea and theory, just like any other, that deserves being taught.
homosexuality is a sexual preference rofl. its not a belief, theres no structure to it, some people feel that they like the sex closest to them, theres nothing to believe its more of an instinct.
Oh and to Obalobex. Now you can shut your mouth please. Sarcasm about what the bible teaches shouldn't be mocked by someone who has never read the bible.

Yes, they believe that homosexuality is best for them. Belief.
No, they dont believe it, its not something that takes faith, its something they FEEL. The dude gets a hard on for another dude thats gay but they cant help it its not something they thought over one night, it just happens for them and one day they stop fighting it however nasty that is to me lol. i would get one if i was exposed to feminine flesh parts, i dont BELIEVE in it, its instinct, i cant control what my penis does. Its a hormone issue not a mental one

In your narrow-minded, closed-boxed opinion, sure why not. I'm not saying that just Christianity needs to be taught. I'm saying everything needs to be- Buddhism, Transcendental Meditation, Taoism, New age, everything- all of it needs to be taught for truly open-minded people who make their own decisions.
Yep, anyone. Any idea. It should all be given equal value as a thought and ideal. At no point should anyone be coerced in to believing anything, but they should be taught all of it, and properly and without bias.
So you think that Intelligent falling should be taught all around the country in schools from grade 1 -12 as a valid hypothesis against the Theory of Gravity?
Yes sir, and students should be taught proper mechanics to analyze the information they learn, so they can decide if it's true or not.

Um, have you ever been to an event like Creation, Purple Door, etc? You know, those Christian music fest-type things? They're always like "I can feel the Holy Spirit/God's presence entering me..."

LOL! are you truly saying that the great scientific debates that rage in the scientific community should instead be taking place in a 5TH GRADE CLASS!?
That is completely undermining the Scientific Process.

You're dangerous, I wouldn't let you close to the kids. Trying to teach them how to gauge and judge things will you...

The last thing a government or a religion wants is to produce intelligent and independant citizens, they are harder to manipulate and are always asking embarrassing questions.
I think you're under estimating the power of a child's mind.

I know; annoying, isn't it? Lol.
I can't really say much about homosexuality since I am not among them. I do not recommend you to judge, Magistrate.
I didn't say it was right or wrong- I said it should be taught just like Evolution and Christianity as both an ideal and an action, but should not be forced as true or untrue. I don't really have any personal standing on this, anyway, so I couldn't allow myself to judge it

thats all bs, that music is a mockery of both religion and the art of music and i agree with Equinox, i dont fully understand homosexuals so i am not going to judge them either way, but from my standpoint and my sexual preference its not something i believe its something i DEFINITELY FEEL. i do a lot of feeling and less thinking and believing when it comes to sexuality rofl. another conversation gone full circle.

All right, but I don't think you can say 100% that it's a belief, not an instinct.
There's plenty of perfectly intelligent kids that could outsmart any adult on my block, I'm 100% sure of that. The reason children seem incapable of doing such things is because they're dumbed down in our current teaching. I didn't learn division until sixth grade; I go to a private school and apparently they all learned it in third grade.
All right, but I don't think you can say 100% that it's a belief, not an instinct.
Yeah, I meant to say it's both. Absolute statements are generally a bad idea today Sorry about that.

I'm trying to show Magistrate that leave the scientific debates to the actual scientists and let them determine what is the theory that should be taught

Anyways, so you are saying that an average 5th grader understands evolution or gravity enough to rival that of a Doctor in the relevant fields?
