Is that a current book? I'm always curious where NASA is headed these days.
It's fairly recent (October 2007). I'd recommend it.
Check out NASA's website, too. Here's a link to their current program, Constellation, which Duggins also covers in the beginning of his book.
Finished - World Without End - Ken Follett (sequel to my favorite book Pillars of the Earth, hopefully it is as good as the first). If you liked Pillars of the Earth this was a great 2nd book.
I am reading - Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, by Susanna Clarke now.

Give, expecting nothing thereof. ------------ BoD - Come have some fun! Folks will always come and go, so enjoy them while they're meant to be in your life.

No where near as sexed up as her other recent books, there was still a few scenes, but they were not too bad.
I liked the book, gave a little history on Jason (one of my fav chars), why he is how he is. It was similar to Micah, in that it was more about character background than actual story, but much better. I think Micah was her worst, I was just glad I didn't buy that one.

Hmmm... I might have to check it out, then. If it's similar to her early books in the series, I just might like it.
I never read Micah -- that character didn't do much for me. I liked the leopard-aspect that was introduced as part of Anita's biology, but I favored her wolf-side and thought her relationship with the reluctant werewolf guy (was it Richard?) was much mo' bettah than the Micah thing; possibly because the sex was just getting way out of hand at that point.
I swear, LKH must have some ravenous appetites...

It is similar to Micah, it is mostly background story for Jason with a little bit of sidestory going on (MoaD makes an appearance).

Kingdom of Shadow, one of my least favorite Diablo books. The setting is interesting. But besides Zayl, all the characters are pretty boring to read. Knaak's pretty good writer, but I think he struggles with character development.
After that, I'm gonna hit either Let Me In, a novel upon which a decent-looking Swedish film, Låt den rätte komma in being released in the US next month, is based; or 99 Coffins, the sequel to 13 Bullets.
Or, I might go with Bitten; I've the hardcover on my shelf for a long time, just haven't gotten around to reading it yet.

How did Blood Noir turn out?
