too bright, darken and itll be fine plus in one shot, there were monsters that had the texture and look of wciii's abominations. too outdated for this time
Texture and lighting are all that really popped out to me... for the most part the graphics didn't bother me.

I personally think it looks pretty damn good as it is. If there was something to change, I would say a maybe a bit dirtier (if that makes sense), but I honestly think that the graphics that we've seen are by no means complete and will likely have quite a few changes by the time it's completed (except for the core style obviously).

After watching the high def gameplay trailer, I'm starting to think that D3 can look a bit cartoony as long as they continue to put the emphasis on creepy details (like demons and zombies exploding or flies feeding on a dead corpse) and they use a more gritty textures.
I really like the new environments. I know that typically Diablo is darker but I loved the jungle setting as well as the dungeon. Although I'm not so sure about the destructible/interactive environments (ladders, falling ceilings, etc).
I really didn't like the character design though. Same typical arguements, it looks like something straight out of WC3. I'd like more realistic models. The enemies looked fine (especially that giant "hellhound" thing), but the player models were a little off.

Although there's a lot they could change and do to make an immensely more immersive Horror experience. I think their easiest solution is to alter the lighting. Just by adding a light radius, and making deep pits more black (not blue) would change it significantly and begin adding back to the Horror, moreso then the rest I believe.
It needs a more crispy and edgy texture like in diablo 2
Also instead of like a bright blue glow from under a catwalk in a dungeon, maybe spikes and blood and shit, just less cartoony
There's no sense in judging the game to be too bright/happy/whatever else as A) We've seen part of an early outdoor area and part of an early dungeon and The developers have already addressed the concern about the look of the game stating that the game has plenty of that gloomy ominous Diablo atmosphere we all love outside of a 10 minute preview. Jumping to conclusions at this point is essentially as good helpful as jumping off of a cliff.
