Nope sorry. I distinctly remember you not agreeing with me, but failed to provide a valid argument. Until you do, you will get nothing from me. I've spent more than enough time arguing with witless tools here, I'm not wasting my time with you.
On a secondary note, I saw on a special on CNN that ( was it Brazil?)'s fuel content is 40% sugar cane ethanol, and is a lot cheaper. Now that would be nice to have around here.
I believe it is real and is going to happen, and we do can not stop it from happening. It will take some time though, but I still believe that it will destroy the planet sooner or later.

Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.
I'm sceptical towards the Global Warming presented by Al Gore amongst others. The thing is, eco-thinking has become an entity of itself. It's a lot of politics these days.
Take the IPCC for example. They're a political body of the UN, not an independent research organisation. I've seen several programs that points out the flaws of the claims that global warming is accelerating. Scientists that have wanted their names removed from the IPCC report have had their requests denied when they no longe rsupported the organization for example.
The data sheet that's always thrown around which shows a link between CO2 levels found in ice and temperature is quite blurry. It only sshows that there's a link, but not which one depends on the other. I've seen assessments that CO2 levels follows temperature change with a few decades/centuries, not the other way around.
A few months ago, joint efforts between Swedish and Japanese scientists on Antarcitica, the JASE, concluded reported that the Ice Sheet on Antarctica has remained stable for the last 10.000 years.
My vote: Human-caused global warming seems unlikely to me.

Well, I voted the wrong thing by accident in the poll... But in any case, I think it's to some extent real, but is blown out of proportion a tad by politicians to further their own agendas. They do that a lot with things.

That would be nice wouldn't it? Though you would have to find somewhere to actually grow the sugar cane...
Averaged over all land and ocean surfaces, temperatures have warmed about 1.35°F (0.75ºC) over the last century. Much of this warming—about 0.72°F (0.4°C)—has occurred since 1979. Because oceans tend to warm and cool more slowly than land areas, continents have warmed the most (about 0.7ºC or 1.26°F since 1979), especially over the Northern Hemisphere.
The year 1998 was the warmest year in U.S. records, followed closely by 2006 and 1934, according to the National Climatic Data Center. Looking at the average temperature during floating five-year periods (for example, 2003–2007, 2002–2006, and so on), the last nine (since 1995) were the warmest in 113 years of U.S. record keeping, also according to the NCDC.

Thats global warming.
If it is indeed a cycle, and we do not know the periods of the cycle, it could be the case that the last 500 years could have been the warm portion of the cycle, and nothing else.
That would be nice wouldn't it? Though you would have to find somewhere to actually grow the sugar cane...
I've heard basically the whole south would be perfect to do so, but you'd have to convince a lot of farmers to grow it. I'm sure someone could think of some nice and sneaky plan to fix it all up. Shame it doesn't have a high tolerance for desert, or we could just plant it all out in Arizona or something, where there's a lot of cheap land. Or maybe it does... Maybe I should look in to that? Meh.
I have two big problems regarding environmentalism, one against it and one for it. Both somewhat related to global warming.
For it, I would say, even if people don't necessarily believe in global warming, why not do what we can anyway to make the planet a cleaner place with our cars and factories. It would be good for business to create new models for energy consumption and well as clean up the air. I'd hate to walk around like they do in China wearing masks all the time.
Now against it, here's what pisses me off about people telling me to be all conscious about the environment. With all the people recycling in their homes and doing their best to separate their trash, buy reusable shopping bags, boycott bottled water, drive their cars less, why the hell should we do all these things? I saw this educational video about how products are made and how the current economic model of consumerism is forced on people. You can watch it here if you like. http://www.storyofstuff.com/
It's fairly interesting and makes some good points. But here's what pissed me off toward the end. The chick narrating it says answers the question of, "Well then, should I still recycle?" And she was like, "Yes, of course we all should recycle. It's just that recycling is the tip of the iceberg in fighting in this problem." And that's my problem with it right there. It's only the tip of the iceberg. In other words, why is there tons of social pressure put on me to be environmentally conscious and always separate my trash according and all that other stuff when a much smaller amount of pressure is placed on the world's largest polluters to clean up their acts? Why should I feel guilty about the environment and change my daily habits when the government lacks the political will to just create laws for people and corporations to be less polluting and wasteful?
It's like, I can go my whole life, my fellow Utahns, and even Americans can keep recycling everyday, but if it's only the tip of the iceberg, why the hell are we so pressured into doing so? Why isn't the real pressure put on government and multinational corporations to do something drastic in improving the environment. I just feel like such a dong sometimes when I go out of my way to be all environmentally conscious when I know my efforts are like throwing a pebble at an oncoming freight train.
And I understand that it's not just about helping the environment, but changing our attitudes in how we view our resources and consumption. I do believe it's important to not think of all we have as being infinite. But I just get pissed off sometimes seeing all these commercials to recycle, drive fuel efficient cars, and to not buy plastic bottles. Cause all I think is, why not put that energy and money into convincing the government to create new laws and regulations to stick it to other huge polluters. Obviously, with all consumers pooling together to pollute, we do a pretty good job at it. But our efforts individually to fight things like global warming and pollution are hardly worth the payoff because of the constant drumming into our minds that we need to recycle and do all this stuff to help the environment. A real payoff of all this environmental ideology would be if the government started taking real measures against pollution and regulated industries more to keep them from polluting so much.
I'll still go on recycling anyway, just because I've trained myself to always do it. I'll do my best to drive less and buy products with less packaging or whatever. But the next time I get a lecture from someone on why I need to help save the planet, I may just ask them to lick my balls.
And that's another thing as some here have pointed out. The whole environmental issue has become so highly politicized it's hard to tell where the truth about global warming really lies anymore. And I'm very wary about politicians who are making careers out of this issue.
Oh my god, you're an idiot.
