Fenatic... when your parents get home, don't lie about it. Own up to it, apologize, and bear-out whatever punishment you may receive as stoically as possible (no whining, or crying if you don't like the punishment -- that will only make it worse).
You made a mistake, and you will make many more. Your parents were once kids, too. They've been in your shoes; they know you're going to make mistakes just like they did.
If you're mature about the whole thing, they may express their pride in you for being so, and may be somewhat lenient.
If you try to be deceitful about it in any way, you'll lose their respect, and they'll be less forgiving of mistakes you will make in the future.
I'm still not sure what to believe with the John/Fbim4 thing. The main thing I noticed is that they both like tennis and both idolise that same tennis player. And John never replied to Fbim's remark about loving the same tennis player. If he really does love the tennis player guy, then he should have been excited about finding someone else that loves him too.
And strangely John made a 'how good are you at flaming?' thread very early on, before he really got established. Why would he have flaming on his mind? Unless the thought came from another forum.
And come on guys, what are the names that Spanishbard, Fbim and John go by on starcrafttwo.com?
And yeah Fanatic, how old are you?
Why don't people ever answer anything around here.
Jimmy Conners is "the tennis guy" of which you speak, Atrumentis.
That's all I got. I don't know the other answers.
It is somewhat entertaining, though. Kinda like a soap-opera, but not as good as a soap-opera.
Not that soap-operas are good (that's kinda my point).
And not that I watch soap-operas.
Oh, and Fenatic... I didn't mean to imply that you might be thinking of weasling out of the truth when you discuss the situation with your parents. From your OP, having reread it since last night, it seems you know what to do already.
I think I just got side-tracked by everyone else's responses.

I go by w00tstick. Fbim went by FBIM1. John went by John135. I say "went by" because they've both been perma banned. There's no need to speculate on the John FBIM situation anymore. It's already been announced they are under the same IP. So basically they live in the same household, if not the same person.
Oohhh, wow, I finally found fbim4, fbim1, and john135 - who indeed do have the same IP address.
Well there's no doubt about it, they really are the same person.
Yeah, okay, so I just wanted to find out for myself since I have the power to do so.
Eh, sucks to be mike (which I assume is his real name), trying to start fresh but failing because Spanishbard (aka w00tstick as I also just found out) caught him when fbim1 got banned for "spamming" (as is the reason given) and noticed that john135 shares his IP address.
Yay, soap operas ARE fun. This material is great. lol. I'm gonna write this down.
Edit: Do you see the irony in all of this? He tried to start fresh because the spamming gave him a bad name, but then he spammed again which got him caught out on starting fresh. So ironic.
Well as I mentioned earlier. When John use to flame me in the forums he would say ,"Spanish why don't you just start a new name and get a fresh start, no one likes you". I mentioned this quote earlier as well. At the time I thought the insult was pretty creative.
Edit: I had wanted a mod on d3 to compare their IPs for quite sometime. I saw alot of similarities behind their style of typing. I finally had the opportunity to check it myself when John foolishly registered on starcrafttwo.com last week.
Thanks for the advice guys, I was going to tell them the truth anyways, because I don't really see the point in making up excuses. For the record, I'm 15 and an half. I didn't realize at the time that if I hit someone, my parents could go to jail and so could I. I knew it was possible, I just never taught of it at the time.
I'm going to try and clean up the house and the truck, do good in school and show more interest to my workout. Maybe if I do this, they will show a little more compassion towards the situation. The worst part is, I'm home alone for 2 weeks and by doing what I did, I did betray their trust.

I like the life I lived, because I went from negative to positive.
You know very well who you are, don't let them hold you down, reach for the stars.
I'm sure they'll be forgiving of you. I've done alot worse as a kid. I've been detained by police at least 4 times growing up. It sounds like you feel a bit guilty for doing it. That's a positive step in the right direction I think.
I dont see why they would be mad at you. So what. You took the truck around the block when they were out of town. Just dont say lies, and tell the truth. Unless they are the harsh parents. Then the punishment will not be bad. At least you did not wreck the truck.

Could have caused an accident, hit someone, wreck the truck, get caught by police > involve parents, give him/them a criminal record, do I need to go on? Please don't tell me this is "OK". No one should ever attempt this at that age, and his parents are foolish for not warning him beforehand if they knew he was able to drive a truck.

It is good that you are not going to lie - usually that's pointless, and I found most parents love it when you are honest. But how could you not know the consequences of driving a truck, at the age of 15?

You have a very different parental situation there. If I did what diablo fenatic did I don't even want to think what the punishment would have been *shrudder*.

He just drove around his block. He would have not gone in an accident. You dont know. He could have been driving two years earlier. I did it a lot at my age, but it was in a smaller town, and it was in the mountains. I believe that you can drive at the age of fouteen. You just have to have a perent with you, and out of the view of the po po.

I heard too many stories of kids driving in cars around blocks, for 5 minutes, and then killing a person, or jamming some gas valve, or causing a fire, or shit like that, you have no idea how screwed up life can be due to chance. A car is a dangerous machine, even in the hands of many adults.

But he wasn't with his parents, and, for some reason, they do not trust him to drive a truck. If they did, he wouldn't have to worry about his aunt. But since he is afraid it means they do not really trust him with his driving.
Then there is simply the law element. You could simply get caught by the police. I drove BARELY out of my apartment, on a bike, without a helmet, and met a police car. Then I had to argue with the policeman about my age, drive back, bring my permit, and prove to him that I am indeed 17 and that I can ride a bike without a helmet.
hah, a law that says "You may drive at the age of 14 as long as you're with a parent and the police don't catch you."
Edit: Wait, how did his aunty find out? If he didn't think it was a big deal, then why did he tell someone? Proud that he did it? Tsk tsk, pride is a sin.
I don't think there is a law like that in any state. And you still need a permit. But with parents at least they more or less know what's happening to the vehicle and son... I guess no one here cared to put themselves into the parents' position.

Riding a motorcycle or a regular bike?

Do the right thing, dude.

Wow, that's sad. Is he banned now?
This is who I think of when I think of him.
