Goodguy, the only 3 way SLI cards available at the moment are the 8 series gtx and ultra I'm not too sure as if the 9800gx2 is tri-sli compatible becuase running two of those is considered "Quad-SLi"
Anything in the 8800 series will be able to be run in any sli configuration. Also, I said nothing about running two 9800GX2 cards.
Purchasing a 9800GX2 is foolish. Like I already said, two 8800 GT's are actually faster than a 9800GX2.
Last time I checked, there were 8800 GT's available for between $175-200, meaning that for $400, you could outdo a $600 card.
You don't play around with videocards. You put them in, you overclock them and then they do the same thing as the others. It's the same for all of them.

Your logic is seriously messed up.

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
