Where oh where do the Arreat Summit get it from? Things like this:
Frog Demon (Animal) Swamp Dweller, Bog Creature, Slime Prince The darkening of the lands of Kehjistan during the Mage Clan Wars left much of the realm bristling with untamed magical energies. While much of this dissipated over time, some had effects upon the landscape and creatures of the jungle. Trees and vines would grow to unusual size, rivers and swamps would appear overnight, and once innocuous creatures would gain dangerous abilities with an appetite to match. Such is the case with what locals refer to as ‘Frog Demons’. These swamp dwelling monstrosities spit a poisonous mucous at their prey to kill it without having to engage in a physical confrontation. Once their victim has fallen to the powerful poison, the amphibious beasts strip the carcass of all flesh, leaving a pile of highly polished bones as the only evidence of the deed.
That isn't in the manual, and no npc says it. Ohhh, did they say it in the Diablo Walkthrough book? Or something?
Some info there is present only there, most are direct copies from the manuals.
Occassionally you run into info blizzard have supplied themselves to beef up a monster or item or something. but its none the less offical stuff.
I can't say for sure, Solomir could probably verify this, but there is the Diablo DnD campaign, it's monster manual has entries like that for all most every monster type, the website could have easily taken the info from that. It is recognised as offical, though there are a few difference from the PC games, but it's pretty much the same.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
You study with Necronergal now too? I should be there too somewhere, probably on a computer both learning the lore and posting here.
The Arreat Summit website can be pretty much taken as fact. Except for the few instances that contradict stuff from the Sin War Trilogy, they probably just haven't been updated yet.

lol, there's probably a lot more people in the Library than just three people. The 'Storyline' thread section on the forums pretty much represents the library. Its just that Necronergal said that he wants to study with us in particular. Solomir probably gets really annoyed by us following him around all day, but I'm just too keen to stop lol.
Oblivion Knight (Undead) Doom Knight, Abyss Knight, Oblivion Knight
Undead Fighter The souls of the most ruthless and corrupt mortal warriors to die in the Sin War often come to reside in Hell. Forged in the fires of eternal punishment, some of these spirits are reborn as cruel shadows of their former glory. Clad in demon forged armor and wielding arcane weapons of destruction, they roam the gateway to Hell in search of those who would invade their sinister domain. Undead Mage Like their brutish counterparts, these minions of Hell are comprised of the most mendacious and merciless Sorcerers and Necromancers slain in the Mage Clan Wars. Their thirst for power has followed them to the grave and was easily manipulated by the Prime Evils when creating these dark mages. Wielding the same powers in Hell as they did in the mortal realm, they pose a fatal threat to even the most experienced adventurer.
Well reziarfg reversed is G Fraizer. G Fraizer works for Blizzard,
The look of this creature is somewhat based on the Putrid Defilers from Act 5. I can't remember if he was introduced to the game, but he may have, I have yet to encounter him if he has.

PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

So I don't know where it comes from.
Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

Ohh, G. Fraizer aye? Makes sense. Yeah, I don't think it really is in-game, also considering there aren't any stats for it.
Maybe this is a weird joke-thing like the rumour of cows in DI, so maybe there will be a reziarfg in DIII?
