I've been thinking about doing this for a while and I wasn't sure it would catch, but Winston convinced me with to amzing words "Try it" So if you play paintball, talk about you're marker setup or some awesome move you did that won a game, or whatever wheter it be Woodsball or speedball, or any other kind of ball I missed... yah, or if you're thinking about about getting into it or just have question about it (safety for example), come and ask.
I'll start.
Ive got an A5a2, its durable and its air-thru buttstock makes it steady to aim, obviously to those who know the sport, I play woodsball, scenarioball more specifically (speedball isn't my cup of tea).
I love paintball. But I don't like going to the places where you pay to play in their arena. There's a lot of great orchards right by my house and that's where my friends and I like to play. It's even fun during the winter.
So we'll all divide into two teams. We go to each side of the trees, usually the apricot trees, then we yell really loudly that it's on. What's nice about the orchard setup is how the horizontal and vertical rows of trees would allow us to hop from on tree to the next. Sometimes going way higher on one end in an attempt to outflank the other team. I haven't done it since last year though. It can get expensive to play.
Sounds great, unfortuantely, I live in the city, so I only regularly go to pay to play areas excepted when I'm in B.C, but its all worth it in the end.
I've been wanting to purchase my own paintball gun for some time now. I can never really find one suitable for my preferences and also light on the budget.

Marcos and I are planning a paintball getaway into the orchards probably next week. About 25 bucks will get you a gun for the day and all the ammo you need. I highly recommend you invest the time and money to join us.
I love the game of paintball. My friends and I play on a ranch that has over 200 acres, and it crevesas you could hide on to surprise someone. Or just to get away, but with a big crack in the ground you might not want to rush over the edge. My friend did that once and dropped about 12 feet and broke both his arms, some ribs, and a leg. He still plays it though, and we still have fun. It's just fun to go out and shoot people with paint.

Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.
I've only ever played in the mountains around here, so I guess Woodsball. The first time I went was for our homecoming dance back in the day and we were doing a capture the flag. My group was creeping all platoon like through the woods on top of this rise when suddenly we heard shots being fired at us from eleven o'clock below, so everyone dropped to the ground and started shooting.
I was taking up the rear and hadn't been seen yet, so I decided to circle around. It was then that I saw the shooter. Firing off a quick three shot burst I saw him go down. It was pretty cool. Later I was talking to my friend and he said he heard the shots, looked up and got splattered in the facemask. Very fun.
Also Siaynoq, give me a call when you're ready to go. I'd like to get in on some of this orchard action!
Ok, enlighten me; I suppose woodsball is, like, in the woods (awesome band, btw =P) or something. So what's this speedball?
I'm kind of interested in trying paintball but in the end I don't really think it's my cup o' tea.

"So I like climb out the window and I fall because we’re on the third floor , but it’s cool, because I land where my arm used to be, but it’s not there so it doesn’t hurt. And I’m thinking, yeah, man, this no arm thing is kinda chill."
Speedball is played on a nearly flat field and small field of astrograss. The usual terrain in one of these games is either giant inflatable objects or industrial pipes, usually. The objective of a speedball game is usually Elimination, or capture the flag. Teams usually consist of 3-9 players. The markers (guns) used in these games are usually rather expensive (with a price range for a decent one around $300-$700), shoot very fast, are light, electric, and high maintenance. Games range from 1-minute to 5-minutes. Clothing worn is usual brightly coloured Jerseys with matching pants with knee-padding in them.
The reason I don't play speedball is found woodsball first, but then when I tried a game of speedball I found players way over competitive, and I hated the terrain. I hope you find this useful.
I actually just went paintballing my first time in december for my 19th at an indoor Woodsball (I think) place.
It was honestly the most fun I've had in iunno how long.
I did pretty decent I guess, considering we we're facing pro's that work there haha.
Oh, and I learned one thing.
NEVER let them know its your birthday.
I swear to god, even when you raise your hands and call hit, they still shoot haha.
