you know you all loved pokemon and have played it at least once... most people wont admit having played but i sure do... i wonder why they havent taken thechhance to make an mmo where u travel a vast world raising and training pets 3d like :-)
maybe even a monster rancher mmo :-P
i like these types of games... would be kewl to have as new style of pet games...
were there digimon games? i never watched the pokemon really... just liked the games... but now that i look back on it... man that was one repetitive training sequence... basically run in circles spamming 1 button when the fight started
man back in the day i had like 500+ pokemon cards, thats all i spent my money on but then i realized how gay it was and gave them all away except for my holofoils or w/e they're called, yea i still got them somewhere lol. i remember getting my first charazard card and almost shit my pants lol good times
Watched Pokemon, played pokemon, collected poekmon cards, watched Digimon, played Digimon.
Both the shows are like all japanese kid-shows. Who cares about power, it's friendship that defeats the evil mastermind and his minions of terrifying destruction-oblivion.
I will never forget when the digi-destined tried to beat Malomyotismon in season 2, and they got their asses whipped, but then all digimon in the world sent their "love" to the good guys and the they kicked ass
Both games were repetitive. Digimon 1 was like a Tamagochi (it was released before the anime), Digimon 2 was outright crap, plain and simple, and Digimon 3 was a rip-off of Pokemon.
As for an MMO, why not? It would require some reworking of the basic concepts that all SP pokemon games have in common, but it could probably work.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
I owned the crap out of pokemon. I was an unstoppable MACHINE!
I actually got the Pokemon Limited edition Nintendo 64 and Pokemon Snap, Stadium and Stadium 2. Geek anyone?
it was a fun game and I do dabble in the Roms from time to time, but I reckon that an MMO Pokemon could be ok. Aslong as its for PC and not the crappy WEE.

It's still better than the "good guys defeat the bad guys because the bad guys are bad shots, weak, and ugly" thing.

it would be a cool idea... a little childish but it would be a neat mmo

(thats alot of money for a couple hundred cards, especially when your only in the 6th/7th grade)
I had only bought a few packs of the cards (compared to others in my class) maybe 20 or so packs plus a few starter packs (2)
after that i traded with people for all my cards :-D
