If you ever meet a hafling and a hungry dragon you dont have to outrun the dragon, you only have to outrun the hafling.
-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Heh I don't get scared by scary movies, I enjoy watching them because I'm thinking to myself what stupid thing they will do next. There was this one zombie movie where the zombies were actually smart, but I forget the name of it. It was pretty funny/good.
i dont get scared of scary movies i write my books based on other nightmares though like this one i had last week....i was trapped in a dungeon and i had to slay all these huge man/spider like demons i was surrounded but then i got killed and i woke up

You can tell the same lie a thousand times but it never gets any more true so close your eyes once more and once more believe that they all still believe in you......
It wasn't, but it freaked me out... Oh and on The Ring, there is always a scene where it shows a nail going through someones finger, pushing the fingernail up - IT'S GROSS!

This happened not to long ago. I was driving down a road with my mom and her friend and they were talking about how a girl had died in the field we were driving by. Well in the middle of the field appeared a floating girl and was kinda following the car. I went to tell my mom but then when I turned the girl appeared right in front of my face and I was speechless, I couldn't talk or anything. She stared at me for a few seconds then she basically went right through my body. The instant she went through my body in my dream I woke up in a cold sweat and I couldnt get warm. This happened in the middle of summer :/
Well I'd have to say that most horror movies out these days are crap. A bunch of pg-13 movies or gore-filled no plot rated R movies. The only real movies that seem scary to me are the ones that get into your head like the Exorcist, Exorcist 3 and Silence of the Lambs. Some good ones if you want to have some fun is Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2.
BTW: Nightmare on Elm Street is still one of the greatest old horror movies of all time.
Edit: Also the Scary Movie series went downhill after the Wayan brothers left at Scary Movie 2
I think in order for a horror film to actually be scary it will have to be based on stuff people can relate to. Kinda like the final destination series, but they were more suspense.
I still find scary movie funny but if you take scary movie 3 and 4 they're just full of toilet humor and they try to be funny that way. It's like they're trying to bring in 10 year old audiences or somethingl.
