Anyone else feel like the Diablo one fell short? The Starcraft one was amazing. I found myself wanting to play the game even tho I was never interested in it before. The Diablo one felt like I was watching a trailer for a bad Avatar cartoon rip-off.
Disappointment <_<

Playing a Wizard. Looking for Demon Hunters to play with.
Well I'm not gonna lie but this was extremely disappointing and anyone who knows how proper animation looks like will agree with me.
It must have been made on very short notice because it was really short and really low on actual movement and it still managed to look poor and very un-fluid.
They should have went with their full CG thing because at least they know how to do that well. This 2D/3DCG mashup was just not good.
It's about what I expected. Looked like a Saturday Morning Cartoon. I cannot stand this style animation. it looks cheap and low budget. The voice acting over all was abysmal. For a 100% unlock, this was a major let down.
It was free. Stop whining.
There are plenty of free things but that doesn't mean they're good or welcome.
Not talking about the clip, just about that logical fallacy.
Proper animation?
Peter Chung knows a hell of a lot more about animation than anyone around here. If you don't care for the style, I get it, but don't insult the man's work.
A CG would be much fucking better... I hate that animation style. I'm a FPS/fluidity freak and watching this kind of animation makes my eyes bleed (playing anything with less then 50 FPS makes my eyes bleed too).
It was a good try, i will give blizzard that. But i wished for some sick cinematic =(
if someone is able to get in and doesn't really know what to ask...I'd like to know if any non-set legendaries will only drop in Inferno Act III and IV.
Why is there always gotta be an ass who likes to do thing by himself. I sometime wonder why are some people are even friends with clearly! a D- bag. Imperius... Anyways, I liked the anime short.
Yeah...good luck trying to get a question into that chat thing with Jay Wilson. I've been unable to get the 'send' button highlighted at all, though I guess not surprising given how many people are there. And I really wanted to ask him about whether or not they were happy with the somewhat...less than stellar skill UI choices made so far as well as the seemingly excessive categorization made for the skills.
that was AWESOME!!, my brain meat is still ok but i loved it and now i want a whole series like this :Thumbs Up:
i was only let down by the length of it cause i was expecting a full 20min short movie. ps:i understand if you didn't like this, anime isn't for everyone...

I'll answer for him.
"Lets agree to disagree."
I know the answer because someone previously asked about that on the Diablo 3 forum.

While it wasn't my question that was answered about the skill UI, someone else mentioned a similar one and yep...they're going to go with it no matter what. *sighs* Ah well...that's all I'll say on that one.
If you want to compare SCII with D3's 100% unlock, then I also suggest you compare D3 cinematics to SCII's 2D animation...oh wait.
I'm talking about what was possible the single most hyped cinematic for Diablo 3 prior to release (after watching SC2's, and expecting something as great). This animated short was very bland...even the story was lame.

Yes my submitted question got answered:

Yes. Legendary items are dropped based on the level of the monster or chest, so we have several at the max level that can only be found in the end of Inferno.
This solves the mystery of if some NON-set items were exclusive to level 63 mobs
