wait what exactly did bashiok said about inferno? can someone translate it?
Into what? A simpler version?
He was basically saying that even though they claimed it'll take months before anyone beats inferno, what they actually meant was if you play the game the way it is intended to be played - you know, the way most people play, without cheating or using exploits. But they aren't denying that some will be determined enough to find loopholes in the gameplay and will finish inferno way earlier.
Nah, he should of said farmable in his first response. Beating the game once is NP. Farming it convincingly is something else, what I and many others said was that we can beat it within 2 weeks, not farm it and yet we were all called retarded and ignorant ha.
Depends on your definition of "NP". Cheating? Or not riding on the coattails of broken code. If people can beat it w/o Blizzard saying anything was used that they have to patch to fix because it was broken within a few weeks, then yes, Bashiok and Blizzard failed at their claim, otherwise, no. I won't give credit to cheaters.
The interesting thing is that I hear people say "play the game it was intended" vs mod threads but will also say that it's not the player's responsibility to play the game as intended when it comes to issues like this. Naturally it's the same hypocrites who would resort to cheating to make the game easier.
Well first off, it isn't the players responsibility to play the game as "intended". If the developer can't create a game that is fun and insightful to play it as "intended" then that is on them.
Also I won't need any glitches or hacks or exploits to win. It is very simple, 3 barbarians and a monk should and will be able to steam roll all of the content. I have no doubt in my mind of that.
I doubt they'll have failed at making the game fun w/o the use of exploits. Per the ToS, it IS the player's responsibility not to exploit.
I sort of hope you are right about Inferno being that easy; if for nothing else than to feed Blizzard some humble pie. I think they're underestimating their players (they always do and have to continue to patch things regularly because of what we can do). They throw some graphic designers at us in a video instead of some well known hardcore D2 gamers to tell us that Inferno is hard. Somehow I doubt any of those people will be kicking your butt in Arenas or be more efficient at killing and farming than you.
TLDR version is, People will always find a way that blizzard never intended when it comes to beating some bosses/inferno.
When you have millions and millions of people playing your game, there will always be tricks that blizzard never thought of or maybe little exploits. People will always find these. Though blizzard will fix these, it wont stop the fact the world first will most likley beat info due to these
