Because the Prime Evils kicked their arse and forced them to cooperate, of course.
hmm you know that would be really cool and maybe they decided to share world of sanctuary and maybe after you kill Belial and Azmodan diablo mephisto and baal all come up in there true form to seek revenge and try to take over or destroy world of sanctuary
and how they got there true form is because the worldstone is what kept them from getting in there true form in the world of sanctuary but now they are
and maybe now if you kill them in there true form maybe they stay dead now lol

I belive now that the worldstone is gone the three of them are going to be a little smarter. The last time they tried to do all that they got whooped. I think this time they will play it a little safer

Did Blizzard ever say that there will only be 4 Acts? I would hope for more (and not just waiting for an expansion). Seven is lucky in the west, eight is lucky in China (fours is actually unlucky).

blizzard confirmed 4 acts in diablo 3 when its released and the acts are going to have lots of random quests so down be so down man o and btw also random bosses they also said there going to patch it as much as they did WoW so like A lot of patches
and no losing replay ability and also who knows they may actually make a big patch that comes with a huge event or even a knew act thats not an expansion either just 1 big patch like how WoW got big patches that come with a Huge Knew Raid

exactly don't be so down its going to be awesome
I'm really looking forward to these patches and hope that they do bring new quests, possibly new acts as you said, special events and such. That would give the players something new and awesome to look forward to. Maybe a patch would contain an event, something like the Olympics, where players would have PvP matches, timed boss fights/timed clearing dungeons...that might be pretty cool and something different as well.
I like that idea. Would be cool to get to battle all of the individually again. It does appear Blizzard is putting a lot more work into any and all of the bosses. I just wonder how many "bosses" will be in each act. This will take a lot of development time but the payoff would be amazing.

O YA it would so payoff also if the game gets really really good reviews to(which i bet it will) and more people here about the game more and more people will join and blizzard gets even more money man once blizzard gets Starcraft II, WoW Cataclysm, and Diablo III, there going to be even much more rich!

I think we are not going to see al the evils, the prime and the lesser, in the game... I think we could face Belial and Azmodan, as they're the last to make an appearance in the series... and of Course Diablo in the last act... We might see the other two brothers in an expansion though...
I mean more strategic than before. Like before they came out like a bat out of hell raised there minons and started terrorizing everything. Last time they were in pursuit and they died. This time I think they would understand a little bit more about the power of the nephalam. I mean perhaps this time they think of an escape plan. Imagine almost killing Mephisto or something only to have him Teleport out or something lol. (Hopefully they do give you some kind of award cause you dont want to piss people off to bad)

That's exactly what I've come to think the battle with Diablo will be like. There is going to be some way of him escaping, so they don't make the same mistake as the last game. They have to make Diablo the final boss of DIII and the first Expansion.
Mistress of Pain-I don't see this as an Act Boss. I disagree. I do not think she's a suitable replacement for Andariel, unless they explain why we're squaring off against the lesser evils' subordinates for a big boss fight.
Belial and Azmodan-Someone pointed out earlier that they're locked in an eternal struggle. That's a great point. and what that tells me is that those two bosses possess roughly equal power for one never to be able to dethrone the other... and so that leads me to speculate that we may actually see them both in the same act (Act II, that is).
And yea....... I really don't see Blizzard abandoning Baal and Meph. In fact, I think I'd actually be willing to bet money that we'll probably see all three of the big boys in the endgame.
I still think it's a little early to speculate on what the nature of those bosses may be, but I have a hunch that the fights may end up structured a little differently. The responses so far seem to indicate that everyone thinks there will be one big boss encounter at the end of each act, just like Diablo II. That's an educated guess, but we don't know for certain that even that is correct.
It may very well end up that as opposed to that one big boss fight, what if there's two or more boss encounters for each fight? It's a thought.
I think Blizzard are going to adapt the "mini boss first, act boss afterwards" technique. Mistress of Pain as an act boss? That would be a serious disappointment. She'd be a perfect mini boss though, as would the Skeleton King, which I'm almost sure will be a mini boss. You have Belial and Azmodan as the 2 most likely act bosses, then you have Diablo as a third, leaving you with 1 left, which is likely to be anyone; from bosses that made an appearance in D2, to characters like Imperius, or even Tyrael.

Imperius, perhaps. But Tyrael also? I'm curious as to what indication there is that Tyrael's intentions are malevolent... but I still stand by my other point. By the time the expansion unfolds, at least, I expect to have seen at least Meph, Diablo, and Baal. With their new graphics engine, it'd be a shame if we didn't have new graphical representation of all the Primes.
I was on board forthright return of Baal and Mephisto but I have changed my mind. This is a new game and I want new enemies. Some familiarity is good and afterall, this is diablo so I want Diablo to return. However, the oher two would just be too much repitition of D2. Same reason I don't want the necro back and I hope that the act progression does not follow D2.

I agree 100%. Both baal and mephisto were fun within the context of diablo 2, but it would be severely repetitive to kill them again. I also think that people are predetermining the strength of one's character and the bosses based on the last game, which is an absolute no-no. Just because a boss isn't an prime/lesser evil doesn't mean it can't be strong as hell and a complete challenge to kill.
