im talking about there following act steps from diablo 2 like first act is dark kinda foggy except i haven't seen any caves but the tombs in act 1 are like catacombs in act 1 of D2 and act 2 of D3 is sandy and act 2 of D2 is sandy...
but i think corrupted Tyrael will be the big bad boss of ACT IV because also if he is corrupted from the worldstone he's corrupted by Diablo so maybe Diablo wants his crib back in river of flame or some lava place lol
(i say big bad boss because there's at least up from 3-5 bosses each act At Least)
Defeat Azmodan and Belial. You think you are done and then BAM!! Diablo's like not so quick. I'm back and everything is mine again thanks to you destroying Az and Bel, oh and by the way did i mention that I am baal, meph, and Diablo all in one so I am going to be strong as hell.

I personally do not believe this post is correct, but that's just pure intuition. Who knows? I certainly won't until each boss is dead and gone before me.
Anyhow, in a perfect world
Belial and Azmodan would both be bosses assigned to the third act, but a player would only have "time" to catch one of them, their choice would inevitably influence the next act.
hmm maybe baal or diablo or mephisto or all of them together actually is back already and in hell gaining power back and belial and azmodan both got scared and were like ok ok you guys can have hell umm were going to go fight over sanctuary now so then they go up and there armies fight and then you kill them then baal diablo and mephisto try to take sanctuary then you kick there ass then your like finally its all over...THEN tyrael and imperius come along and everyone is just like holy sh*t and then you go fight them...Kick there Ass and then redo it all
and ya maybe they just came back cuz they couldn't go back to there soulstone so they just return back in hell maybe as little baby demons lol and its been 20 years so guess what...they grow up during the 20 years! then they come back and try to do it again and you just kill them again and have to wait another 20 years
Zenith: Tyrael would sacrifice himself to protect Sanctuary, I don't see him becoming a villain. Imperius on the other hand, could very well be as such. In fact, I would honestly be surprised if he wasn't.
or you know since diablo was stored in the worldstone and tyrael destroyed the worldstone and diablo probably corrupted over tyrael throughout the 20 years so both tyrael and imperius probably
I somewhat agree with Eldius. I believe I read somewhere that the worldstone made it impossible for the prime evils to enter sanctuary without using a medium (in this case, soulstones). This, logically, has to somewhat limit the power they have while on their home ground, which is hell. They are forced to use human hosts to be able to exist in sanctuary, thus they are limited by their host. Now, with the worldstone destroyed, it would mean Diablo could freely enter Sanctuary in his original form that he has in hell. That would explain his overall more demonic appearance in D3 compared to the other games (assuming the red demon is in fact Diablo). And it would justify him being a lot bigger and a lot more powerful than previously. I don't know about you guys, but I would love to see him use his full might to smite the humans of Sanctuary, only for him to be defeated by me and my party in the end;>
Mostly speculation, but would be fun if it's true:cool:
hmm ya maybe tyrael did not become corrupted and diablo just got let out and maybe throughout the 20 years maybe diablo came crawling up to sanctuary in his whole form and(this might make me sound stupid)maybe tyrael was killed by hell and diablo's true form cuz maybe diablo's true form is like Really Really Powerful even more powerful than Tyrael

This. The only facts told as facts was the Diablo will be in D3 and Belial is confirmed for Act II. Sorry if there was any confusion. The main point of this thread was to point out facts made about the bosses and to spur discussion on who the act bosses will be. I did assume that Diablo, Belial and Azmodan will be act bosses. This is based off of their importance to the lore but of course people are free to disagree.
Edit: I never said anyone was specifically an act boss, just that the three mentioned would cover three acts for bosses.

There has certainly been no confusion as the disclaimer is hard to miss. I was implying more that Jay Wilson's quote and the blue response are not definitive in denoting boss location, just appearance. Baal was in act II, in fact, the act revolved around him, yet he was not defeated for quite some time.
Maybe Azmodan and Belial are both in the same act, and we have to fight both at the same time?
That is exactly what I'm thinking.
And I can't believe people are still thinking it will be the Prime Evils merged into one. Come on guys, that is one of the lamest ideas ever!! Do you really think that Blizz would resort to that? It would be such a cop out!
1. Mistress of Pain. With Astrogah as an earlier super unique boss
2. Lucion and/or Lilith preferably at different points in the Act. Possible resurrections of Zagraal and Gulag as earlier super unique bosses
3. Belial and Azmodon at the same time. This, IMO, would be the act to fight an Angel if we are going to at all in Diablo III, because Act 4 will surely be in the Burning Hells.
4. Diablo. I do accept the possibility of fighting Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal at the same time, as seperate entities. A resurrection of Xazax as a early act super unique boss would be cool too.
I think fighting multiple bosses at the same time would amp up the difficulty, forcing you to switch combat tactics and skills on the fly. It could really be utilized with the new skill system, since you have the capability of switching skills very quickly. This would also give the impression that the heroes in DIII are more powerful than DII and DI, since they can take on multiple Evils at the same time.
Why would we fight Belial and Azmodan at the same time if there both at war tell me why they would be together...i could understand them being in the same act in Act II or III, because we would have to go and kill them both to go on to Act III or Act IV
But at the same time i dont think
Seriously think about the amount of work that would cause. Not only creating three bosses for one fight but then they would all have to be programmed to interact with each other. I love the idea but I find it very doubtful that they would go through that much trouble.

Forgive me, I should have specified as to what I originally meant. I was conveying that el puesto primero seemed to be guesswork framed as fact.

never said it as a fact. We try our best to never misrepresent fact as hearsay. Again, sorry for any misinterpretation.

well Belial has been confirmed but Azmodan might not have been but probably will be in the game
