Wow nice I like this stuff.. I never read the books, so I didnt know how cool the lore actually was but the fact that the world sits on top of a big dragon is very awesome i find lol kinda inspired by the old medieval belief of the world being ontop of a turtle but waay cooler.

This is awesome. I always liked the diablo lore but I cant be bothered to read the books so having the lore summarized in these news postings really gets me into it more!!! Thanks a ton man for doing this it was a damm good read!
It also makes sense that what Angels and Demons strives for (order and chaos) are both things that no creation can achieve (not even themselves I think). Alone they are selfdestructive, but together they create balance. Their battle is eternal, because everything would end if the battle ends.
Right. Which is pretty much what I said. The conflict could be eternal in the sense that it has always existed since time began.

I don't think so. Eternal doesn't necessarily have to mean that it didn't have a beginning, only that it doesn't have an end.
You don't see the logical inconsistency in this?
If you can continue walking forward without ever reaching and end, then the road is infinitely long, no matter what direction you look in. Hence if you have a beginning, you must have an end.

But this would mean that order, good, chaos and evil didn't exist on Sanctuary before. No, I think it refers to the battle between Heaven and Hell.
"Time began" of course includes whatever time Sanctuary has already existed for, and whatever before then as well.

There is a difference between existing eternally and having existed for eternity. Eternally means (for example) "existance for a limitless amount of time", and that limit can either go up or down, not necessarily both. Having existed for eternity tells you that it never began, but it is possible that it will have an end. Going to exist for eternity tells you that it might have a beginning, but it won't have an end. In lack of a better picture I will use this one as an example.
We're arguing over semantics, and we both agree that Heaven and Hell were in fact created at one point anyway.

No. It's very vague; a lot of comments like that from Trag'Oul make little sense. Definitely foreshadowing for future lore I'd say.
I will explore it further I think.
