Diablo: Diablo II realms are currently down for the scheduled ladder reset. They're estimated to be back up at approximately 12:00 pm PDT.

And don't like the new six-month standard for ladder seasons? Blizzard put up a poll on the Battle.net board imploring fans for input! Although the results will not be absolute, it can't hurt to voice your opinion.

Its not even been a day and on West HCL we already have a 78... It's really stupid, and as I said in another post, the class specific ladders aren't even full of characters anymore...

I haven't played ladder in years. I've been playing mostly single player for the last year. Online got boring. Single player was more of a challenge. But, my highest character was a lvl 90.

I created my char the minute the reset happened, but I had to keep going and dropping people off/picking people up unexpectedly, so now I'm way behind. I basically just gave up. This happens every reset. I'll have no plans and suddenly everyone will need me for something. So, after this weekend, I'm really going to pound away.
You die and stay dead. It's harder, so if you're a higher level and still alive, it says something more. I'd guess a lot less bots. Besides that, nothing really.
LOL I know the difference between HC and normal, just didn't know if on the ladder in HC you got better chance of nice items dropping or more experience. So basically its just for bragging rights.
