There was also a superb write-up on Diablo's history, one of the best I've ever read, complete with some (I believe) exclusive quotations in the January 10 issue of Edge (105-107). If you can find a copy, I encourage all of you to read it.
We were going to f/p it, but it was just too perfect to post without copying most of it.
I find it strange that some people here actually have good taste in general, yet mention Fallout 3 and Borderlands as "good games" during the wait, when they are 2 huge failure in my opinion.
TQ is also quite horrible in my eyes, but I just hate the style, it just didn't feel right.. and no blood. Sacred is too unsatisfying.
I wonder if Bioshock 2 and Mass Effect 2 are worth it... Never completed Bioshock 1. Very boring game. And my 360 died on me, and thats where my ME saves are. I'd have to complete it again and on PC just to enjoy ME2 - the only new games I'd want to play.
I'm finding more enjoyment in old titles, like I always do as a gamer. The past is full of great games, much better than anything recent. I'd recommend people to look at classics if they missed it, thats a very good way to kill time.
There was blood, it was just very, very minimal. It also faded quickly- something I wish that they would fix. Fallout 3 was... I just can't stand most Sci-Fi, honestly. I couldn't get in to it. I need my flashy spells and councils of wizards.
Yall should check out Dead Space. It is SCARY and I love it when games scare me because I get that much more into it, and if you're the same way then this is def a good pick for you. It has a good story to it also.
Well, I'm not very technical even though I understand the basics of C++ and Java. I can, however, conjure some stories out of my head. I could come up with my own, or if someone has a partial idea, then I could probably take that idea and transform it into something somewhat decent.
Actually, I just happen to think of something really cool - especially when I consider the lengthy post I made earlier today. Call it "The Ultimate Diablo Bar Brawl". There is no story to it, but there may be some entertainment value in it and may act as a stress reliever if you're a responsible enough person to use it in that manner. Here's how it goes...
As soon as your character enters the "bar", they are automatically stripped of their armor, weapons and inventory, to include potions, charms, rings, amulets and the like. Your character, and any others that happen to be in that same bar, can fight each other in normal PvP fashion. However, once your character's Life reaches zero, they perform their death animation but that animation shows no blood. Instead, your character is considered KO'd and the character must wait a certain amount of time before they regain consciousness and can begin fighting again. While unconsciousness, the player can choose to leave the bar or wait until they are allowed to join the melee once again. The object is simple - using only your skills and wits, you battle much like an Ironman competition. However, their are no pets or summoned creatures allowed in the bar. Also, before entering the bar, players will be notified of these rules and be given the chance to change their skill point allocation should they deem it necessary. Should the player wish to do so, the skills they choose for the bar fight will be active ONLY for as long as they remain in the bar. Upon leaving, the character's skill point allocations will return to it's former setting. Also, bartenders stationed at random locations will serve "drinks". Some of these drinks will be beneficial, some detrimental and others.....will have quite hilarious effects. If anyone leaves, but then wishes to re-enter the bar, the mod will remember the character's special bar skill point allocation and ask the player if they wish to have that set up again, refuse to alter what they have set or change the point allocation to another setting. Also, there will be a brief cooldown period for entering a bar once you have left it...say.....30 seconds or something.
No gear. No pots. Just booze, fighting and some laughs courtesy of those wonderful
bartenders.

Yeah.....Sacred 2 BLOWS!!!!!! I can't believe I wasted money on this crap of a game. I'm taking it back tomorrow and trading for another game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can just imagine the face on the Seller when you left the store He must have been pissing his pants :D:D:D:D
Oh, is sacred 2 that bad? Dang. I was considering getting a crawler to kill some waiting time for d3. Titans, Torch, or Sacred 2. Well, that blows haha. I was thinking of going back to D2LOD
Gamespot said that on Titan's Quest you spend more time porting back to town, because the drop rates are too high, rather than fighting loads of monsters Booo...
Any good crawlers out there?

"So you have come here for information? I have some for you..."
I'm playing Demon's Souls on the PS3.
Everything about this game is perfect. The multiplayer, high difficulty level and customisation allows the game to be ever fresh. It's allways very challenge, if you blink your eye in the worng mommnet you die
My priest known as St.Foca are in the begning of NG+.
Torchlight MMO or not is still a silly game for me, great and variable monsters but the game mechanics is kind of stupid and very repetitive skil tree haves few active skills, just click and kill, funny at the beginning but not even the bosses require some kind of tactics u just click it and he will die. They can even rename the game :Brainless clickfest. About the other games i dont know sacred 2 is kind of lame i got bored in the first hour of gameplay i liked sacred 1 more then this.
Couldn`t agree more.
If torchlight recieve a massive amount of good patchs the game could turn out to be decent, but the way it is it`s unplayable.
Point and click games are slowly dying as years go by. Hopefully D3 will change that by revolutionaring the genre.

"In time the hissing of her sanity
Faded out her voice and soiled her name
And like marked pages in a diary
Everything seemed clean that is unstained
The incoherent talk of ordinary days
Why would we really need to live?
Decide what is clear and what's within a haze
What you should take and what to give" - Opeth

Even one day I may make my own mod.
Yes it would.
We do have quite a few talented people here with writing stories and a few that are talented with graphics.
It maybe be possible if we can agree on it.
Dude, me and Ike pwn.
