Im sad, no good info from Blizzard in the fast joke-clips. The jokes (2 out of 10) was okey. I was really depressed after seeing this.
When will a demo be playable?
Very rarely do companies release demos anymore for their upcoming releases.
I'm with the rest of you when you say that the show was a huge waste of time. Lame joke on top of lame joke, with no new information about diablo 3, makes me a very cranky man.
Yea um...the Diablo 3 bit was retarded to say the least. If anything it made me feel less of the developers as they have really yet to show or prove that they can handle the Diablo franchise like it should be, all they have done is joke around and make T shirts and skits like this. Sure they added more gore in the game then prev games...they also added more rainbows then the previous games. I would like some serious speeches about how anti rainbow and hellish Diablo is gonna be not some sad jokes about bards and kiddy games.
The Creed vs Drago was worth watching that junk for tho and that guy getting pissed about filming.
In all seriousness tho, the Diablo team really needs to get off this "we can joke around" horse they are riding and reassure the fans they arn't fucking Diablo up.
Personally, I'm going to watch all of these new MMO games come out and try to compete with WoW and see which, if any, puts a real dent in WoW's population while I dream of playing D3. The only MMO coming out that I can see actually having a chance to do any real competition is Star Trek's MMO. Then, being the hopeful kinda guy that I am, I predict that IF any new MMO release does any significant damage to WoW, Blizzard directs all of their resources to completing Diablo 3 as a counter to this new threat.[/QUOTE]
I would not say Star Trek . EvE is the better game to do that and with all that they have coming out. You should check it out. Very in depth game.

I don't know. I kind of like it. I would hope to be able to work in an environment like that some day. Working at Blizzard just seems like it would be an enjoyable experience. I like to see that the creators of a game I enjoy have time to fuck around, and you me be asking... why? If your workers are happy they will be more productive and will make, more than likely, a higher quality product. EA is proof that when you don't take time to relax and stick to deadlines you can get some pretty bad crap.
I don't think we need any HARD information at the moment. The game is still AT LEAST a year away from being released. This gives them plenty of time to slowly leak information, and at the pace they choose. Giving us a little at a time keeps us coming back for more. If they told you everything about the game you wanted to know then you wouldn't bother checking back on the game until you heard of a release date.
I may be getting off topic, but I thought the dev team was pretty damn funny. Especially when Metzen came down and startin dissing Diablo in favor of WoW :P.
I say let them mess around and release information to us when they want. Any information is good information in my opinion.

Yea Dolph is awesome, as are the Rocky movies.
