Back in a prior update in October of 2008 (see Echoes of War - The Blizzard Music Compilation), it was confirmed that Blizzard was planning to release a soundtrack compilation of much of their greatest in-game music, in cooperation with Eminence Symphony Orchestra. It's been nearly a year now, and Blizzard has announced that the Standard Edition (which features 15 songs) is out and available for $24.98 USD, and the Legendary Edition, which features a bonus documentary DVD, nine art cards, and a bonus 32-page booklet, is now available online for $49.98 USD.

If 3/4 are Diablo related songs and 2/3 of the cards Diablo related, that's pretty good!! Especially since it is Blizzard Entertainment music (i.e. Warcraft, Diablo, SC).

I wouldn't be expecting that, especially since Diablo is not by any means their most successful and popular branch. But you can find a full list of the songs included here: http://diablofans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15709&highlight=echoes+war.

Yeah, there are 3 Diablo cards. But only 2 of them are from Diablo3, one of them is of the D2 version of Diablo. Still a pretty nice set overall.
