What I will say from the ways the first two Daiblo's were made the weapons and armor will not look like that at the end of the game, the runes and health pot wont look like that, nor will the way it looks inside your invotory. It will all change.
If you look at the three screens showing the inventory, the bluish-purplish artwork at the top changes slightly from picture to picture. On the first, it's a blue-purple mix, but as it goes from the second to third screen, it becomes more of a gray color.
I don't think the color change means anything, but it's just something I noticed.

Destiny is no matter of chance, it is a matter of choice

Wow, you're right, it's almost like it's half transparent. I wonder if it is, like real stained glass, that'd be so awesome.
The funny thing is I never played WoW so I'm not going to notice all of the resemblance, rofl. But I'm sure the team will try their best to make it as diabloy as possible. But so far the artwork on the weapons and armor, in my opinion, look really "light" for diablo. Yet this is work in progress so it will change drastically overtime.
And damn there aren't too many slots avaliable for items! I know they said that as you level up more will become available.. but. Ah well then again there's the stash, lol. I wonder how that will work out. And what the heck is a talisman? Is that like a second amulet.. or a quest item?
I like how its turning out, actually, they mustve been listening to some of us, it looks more detailed...im hoping theyll round out of of the stuff, some of it, at least in the boss scene, looks really cartoony...if they made it a little more detailed and not so polygonal, i guess that would be how to put it? I think it'd look just sweet. something else i dont like, that i forgot to mention, is the cultists summoning the boss, they look VERY crappy. no offense to anyone at all, i just think as far as character detail they don't look good at all, it looks like warcraft 3, and they need to change the items on the groud's text to the normal diablo-esque text, not arial. xD...but everything else is great.

I think the UI is a freakin work of art. I find it very visually pleasing, the skill menus, inventory and life globe area thing.
I'm a little bummed about the uniques not being in gold anymore. Where did they say that? Maybe i'm just in denial, but I don't know if they actually said that.
Some people pointed out that the armor equipped in the inventory was not accurately displaying on the character model--but the game still is in development, and the armor we see in the screen shots displayed on the character is probably just a placeholder. If you think about it, people seem to be worried about them cutting corners on character appearance because of the way it was limited in Diablo II. But that was eight years ago, and while Blizzard is doing some controversial things, on the whole they know what their fans want and they know what's expected of a game made in this day and age. I mean, if they weren't listening, why did the publish that picture of the thousand pounder? There was lieterally nothing different except for the statues that some fans criticised months ago. It was as if they gave us that picture for the sole purpose of saying "we're listening".
At any rate, I have faith in them to make a great game. They're taking their time, they're focusing on producing the absolute best product that they can. Good things are bound to result.
The UI is looking for the most part fantastic. The red potion/elixir and the gems icons leave a bit to be desired, but I'm hoping it's just placeholder art.
I think the left click/ right click/ tab-swap/ is going to work pretty well for using skills.
the only thing i am worried about so far is that barbarian skill. i mean my gosh it lowers enemies damage dealt to 70%! Maybe there is a massive cool down time or something idk.
Don't be silly. If the ranks up to 5th would continue in the same fashion, the skill would lower the damage by 100% at maximum rank. It's just arbitrary numbers. Remember that every detail was shown on purpose. I guess they wanted people to notice this and talk about it, to keep people busy.
But I lol'd at you taking it as something that will actually appear in the game.
The barbarian fury meter seems rather complicated to me. Also I find the bag section of the inventory to look a little plastic. They might still change it though. The game is still undergoing quite a lot of visual revision at this point.
Ha! I just realised something that I haven't seen mentioned, if you look at the item icons, you can see they have different color glows and my guess is that it's the quality of the items.
I've watched the Video for the Fury System and it doesn't seem hard at all.
Al you do is hack and slash through hordes of Demons and Monsters and your rage fills and then you use it as you would Mana.. and it eventually works it's way back down.
Rinse, Lather, Repeat.

Watching 240 guys talk trash about cavaliers is like two retards having a slapfight over a sippy cup.

and ya the whole ring thing about them negating each other makes sence, its like wearing 2 amulets around your neck, they would negate each other.

I can make out a few lines that could be the walls in the mini-map.
That's what I was thinking looks like some lines of the mini map are showing through or something.
So it actually works like stained glass and is partially transparent.
And damn there aren't too many slots avaliable for items! I know they said that as you level up more will become available.. but. Ah well then again there's the stash, lol. I wonder how that will work out. And what the heck is a talisman? Is that like a second amulet.. or a quest item?
I like the new screens and the information was good.
An overall good interview.

If it's been stated then my bad, but here for people to take a second look
