Countdown to Blizzcon. We are merely 9 days away from BlizzCon. I am traveling to California on Wednesday, October 8th. Take your guesses why.
So here is the official share your Diablo III questions for the developers. Please, let's keep it simple. No art direction questions, that's a theme deeply covered in the past months.
Focus on the different aspects of Diablo II, and the info that has been made available on the website, past interviews and Bashiok's reports.
I won't be able to ask all the questions, but before I leave I can try to get a concensus from all fans on which are the best 10-15 questions. These will be asked in private before BlizzCon.
I will have access to internet on the press room, and will probably gather more questions during the panels to ask developers live on the panel Q&As.
So that you know, Umaro, Mockery, Thasador, Silversurfnstud and me are heading to Blizzcon. We will bring as much coverage as possible with video cameras and digital cameras. I will also grab one of the press media kits to show you. Each of us will be updating from BlizzCon either on the news section or at the Diablo 3 section. So keep your eyes open through October 10-11th.
This might or not be my last work here. Time will tell. For now, I will do my best to represent the community along with Diablofans staff.
Start thinking good Diablo 3 questions that may benefit the community as a whole.
If a demon is killed, and supossing it is sent to hell, is it able to come back to Sanctuary? i.e. can any demon come back from hell?
Is there no cow level?
Are some characters from the diablo novels that aren´t the obvious going be featured in the game?
Accrodingly with the obvious reference to H.P. Lovecraft´s work (like Abd al-Hazir), will there be some Lovecraftian monsters featured in the game?

Here are a few questions I would like to ask Blizz:
(This one is especially important for long time fans)
#1. It is obvious that Blizz has been creating alot of Lore for D3, so what I'm wondering is this "Lore" going to make us feel like this is a game apart or really try to link D1 and D2 withing the story to set the ambiance?
#2. Reminiscent of Diablo 2 Ladder lag spikes that were happening all over the realms, what is Blizz going to do to prevent a higher definition, 3D, Diablo 3 from once again lagging the normal player out of a fun experience?
#3. There has been alot of debate in the community about the bad implementation of runewords/spellbooks, what steps is Blizz going to take to prevent another 5 homogeneous "feel alike" characters in this latest installment.

1. How similar will the skill tree be to Diablo 2? For example, will all characters be using Mana to cast our spells? Will we be having the same progression-type skill tree as in Diablo 2? And will synergies make a return?
2. Are we going to see the same types of loot (i.e. normal, magical, ethereal, rare, set, unique)?
3. Is item trading going to be improved upon? Will there be "market" games, in which players can set up a shop to display their items, and browse other shops?
2- On a gameplay point of view, what is the difference between fury and mana?
Fury is in less supply but regenerates faster, that's how it is at the moment but it could change through development time. Mana regenerates slower but is much more plentiful.

Will we be re-visiting areas of Diablo 2?
Will Diablo 3 have achievements?
Will we be fighting against the forces of Heaven or allied with them?
Most of these questions have already been answered.
Of course you're going to revisit areas of Diablo 2, though I can't guarantee they'll look the same.. 20 years is a long time.
In diablo 2 I mostly played singleplayer, it has been said that there will be an emphasis on multiplayer in D3, will singleplayer be just as rewarding and fun as multiplayer?
I do not like how most games rated M have a lot of profanity and nudity, will diablo 3 have about the same amount as diablo 2, or will it have more adult content?
I loved to collect set items in Diablo 2, but sometimes I never found a whole set, or the set was not as effective as having unique or runeword items, will having full sets be more rewarding in Diablo3? Will sets and the other kinds of items be more ballanced in power?
These aren't very good, but couldn't think of better right now.
I don't want to ask lore or story questions, because I want to experience the story for the first time when I play it, not know too much about it beforehand.
I like basekick's first question about items.

Where there is truth, he must find.
Where there is destruction, he must rebuild.
Where there is love, he must protect."
World's Fair Exhibit
"God gave us memories, that in life's garden we may have June roses in December."
2) Can I buy magic/rare/set/unique items from a vendor?
3) How many hours of gameplay will Diablo 3 present (start to finish)?
4) Will the background environment be static, or will it be it be interactive (area of effect attacks make trees sway)?

What is normal? Normal is a concept that everyone or a majority of people are the same or similar. However, we know that everyone is unique. If everyone is unique, then everyone is different. If everyone is different, then everyone is weird. If everyone is weird, then everyone is normal.
1) Cow level, yay or nay
1a) If there is a cow level, can it please be brightly colored and be full of rainbows? lol
2) Guilds? I know there was major talk of them back in d2 devel time (Or was it the addon?) about guilds and guild rooms etc that you and your mates could all go to with like banks and etc, but I think the problem was that it wasn't so good due to battle.net restrictions. Can you clarify this at all? And will we be seeing this kinda thing in D3?
3) Cube/Runes/etc. I heard that you guys were going to drop the rune idea, but are you going to get rid of all character-created-item generation? Will we still be able to make things, only they're a lot harder to make or conversly a lot less powerful? Or will the only makable things be consumable or quest items?
4) Pvp: I know that wasn't something people liked much in D2, and caused a lot of grief, but with wide areas and better battle.net capabilities, does that mean that there will be options of (excuse the wow term) raid-like things? Or battle arenas or something?
5) Character stuff: Is there going to be any "fluff" for the characters? I mean like will we be able to dance/wave/etc like in wow? 'Cos having a bad-ass barby kick the proverbial out of a boss demon and do a dance on his corpse would be RAD. I guess I could settle for more num-pad pre-built voice clips though. Although I know a lot of people get irritated when I do this all through a game lol
1. Will poison (damage over time) be present in Diablo III? I noticed during the gameplay demo that the phrase "disease damage" was being used. Is that the same as poison, it's replacement term, or something entirely new to the Diablo game? And if it is like poison damage, will there be antidotes or antidote globes to counter it's effects? Or perhaps something entirely new to counter damage over time?
2. Are there any revolutionary ideas or content planned for Diablo III that may influence all other Blizzard games, or for that matter, the entire gaming industry? What I'm primarily asking is, will there be anything brand new to the Action-RPG genre that you'll introduce in Diablo III?
3. Can loot be kicked around by monsters or players do to the Havok physics engine? Same goes for bodies - can they be kicked around post-death?
4. Will Diablo III's actual gameplay be more difficult than shown in the gameplay demo? Were the Barbarian and Witch Doctor "souped up" in the demo in order to show off skills and gameplay mechanics without having overly-challenging obstacles?
5. Will there be Magic Find in Diablo III, if so, how will it be different/similar? If not, how will the dropping of super rare items be dictated?
6. Are there any people, places, things, or events in Diablo III that will correlate with the Diablo novels that are currently published? (i.e. Bartuc's armor, Inarius' mirrored chamber, Zayl the Necromancer)
7. Will an opponents strength decide how the player dies? (i.e. the stronger the enemy, the more devastating the player's death animation)
8. Is there anything the Diablo III development team is trying to keep Top Secret with all their might?
9. I noticed that the Witch Doctor could also enchant his Mongrols with his Fire Bomb attack. Will there be numerous skills to use to enchant minions? And if so, will a higher level of those skills add higher bonuses to the minions attacks?
10. Is there any interest to stop players from "rushing" others through the Acts in Diablo III? (Online)
11. Is there any content planned for Diablo III that will require players to "grind" for? (Online)
12. Any interest in a Guild system? (Online)
13. Will there be any items in the game that will surpass the superiority of Unique items? That is, if uniques will still exist in Diablo III. (i.e. Legendary items)
14. Since there is a strong focus to keep the player out of town, will there be any encampments/small towns on the journey to act as a convienient way to repair/sell items?
15. Where can I get a Diablo III poster to "enlighten" my room?
Seriously guys, if your going to post questions and ideas, could you try to first look at other folks' previous posts so not to restate the same idea/subject. It's jsut getting stupid when you got 10 people talkking about Guilds/Kinds of Loot/skill tree......

3- How are you going to keep the pace of the game fast for spellcasters with the nerfing of potions?
4- What are you currently planning for the new crafting system?
What are the full effects of the worldstone being destroyed?
IS THERE A DRM!?!?!??!

*Will Battle.net 2.0 be something beyond making a games and waiting for people to enter? Are Blizzard approaching to something new with Battle.net?
*Estimated level of security - How protective will Diablo 3 and Battle.net 2.0 in general be when it comes to hacks, bots, cheats etc.
*Won't Blizzard oppose d2jsp?
