The reason there's a minimum post requirement is because the time they were giving away the WoTLK beta key and mini Tyrael pet, 90% of the 'contestants' only registered for that purpose and made one post ever, never to return again. The whole deal still kind of pisses me off, since I really wanted the key. It felt more than just unfair. And now seeing people with 5 posts complaining about the rulles literally disgusts me. Please back off and don't ruin the competition.
awesome, a chance for tickets. Well lets see.. obviously the thing I'd be there for would be the Diablo 3 news. Sure seeing everybody would be great, but I wont lie, I'd be there for Diablo 3 stuff haha. (Maybe even play the demo :P)
If I win, I would be looking forward to getting the Diablo III news and, hopefully, being the first to report it here, at Diablofans.com. All my fellow gamers that don't get this amazing chance deserve to know what we're seeing as close to first-hand as possible. I'm also anxiously awaiting further details of Battle.net and StarCraft 2. Good luck to everyone.

I didn't Disagree with the part where you need to have been registered for at least two months. That's really all you need. You registered the same Month that I did. Just because I prefer to read instead of post shouldn't matter.
This is awesome that Blizz is helping out the fans and what not!
I am looking forward to seeing and testing the games more than anything, I really want to see new Diablo 3 info or demos, I want to see Starcraft 2 and possibly play it, also would like to see all of the costumes etc. that people come up with.
Going to Blizzcon would literally make me pee my pants, crossing my fingers **
wow awesome gl all I hope I get one but there are so many good people I don't mind cause there will be good people instead that will go
anyways the thing I look forward to the most is learning what new character classes there will be from either panels and hopefully a demo??

For all who have waited the time has come pick up your axes, swords, spears, and bows the awakening of hell is upon us protect sanctuary to your dieing breath
August 10th, 10:00 PM, i was frantically refreshing the blizzcon site, hoping i'd get in, but i found out i didn't not till another 3 hours, after i managed to get in i put in all my information and ended up getting the disgusting site down error, over and over again. I repeated this process, everyday, every chance i was on the computer, seems sort of sad, but i put everything aside and just sat there hitting f5, and still failed. This is the reason i wish to aquire a Blizzcon Ticket, I couldn't begin to try and describe my appretiation for it, but i'll try.
What i'm looking most forward in blizzcon is definitely diablo 3, if I am able to attent i hope i can watch the diablo 3 panel, and i'd be all over that thing, till they'd have to pry me out of the area :o, if they had diablo 3 up and running, i'd definitely do whatever it would take to get my hands on it for whatever the time would be.
What i really look forward to is seeing people there from this community, plus others if i get a chance to go, blizzcon is something i've always wanted to attend however i never got the chance. When i was younger, i'd always dream about going, because i was so excited of what new games blizzard was pumping out, and now I'm getting the same feeling from this years 2008 blizzcon.
Plus if it accounts for anything, i've bought diablo 2 like over 7 times :| (lost it, and couldn't live without it).
On another note i'm also looking forward to starcraft 2 playability, that looks pretty cool, but my main focus is still and always will be Diablo.
all in all, i love all blizzard products and i'd say i'm the biggest fan, of any game that they've released i've been playing them all my life, and i still do.
ok , so how do u win them, i just read the rules and there too much reading for me, i just got home from work. can some1 kindly like sum it up for me or w/e. i prob sound retarted but meh who cares. THX
I don't see how it could be any shorter But here I go:
Post in here, have more than 50 posts, be here for more than 2 months, and you could be randomly picked to receive a free Blizzcon ticket. Lodging and travel are on you, though. Only the ticket to actually get in will be awarded.
If I was to win this contest, I have a silk screen, and would be able to design and print 50 diablofans.com t-shirts to handout at the event. I as well have a $10000 plotter (poster printer) that does top of the line prints up to 42 inches wide. I'd design a sick diablofans.com poster as well and handout 50 of those high quality prints too. Normally I'd charge a few thousand dollars atleast for those materials but it would be worth it to go and represent the website and experience what is in store. I wouldn't mind doing coverage for the event either. I have prior experience in writing, journalism and public relations. Attended many E3's as editor-in-chief and performed countless interviews, but have since moved on to print work selling my own designs. Not to mention I have top notch professional photography and video equipment worth almost 10 grand. Id be able to upload media so clear you could see the pimples on diablo's face! Yes, he has 'em too.
Vote for me this election because I have a lot to bring to the table and have the resources to do some major things at the event while stepping up diablofans site coverage up a couple notches!
