Um the 3rd US 'pin' on the plug is just a ground. You can plug it in without it but if theres a surge or something your equipment is at higher risk.
Theres no such thing as a 3plug to 2 plug converter. If theres no ground theres no ground.
If its a matter of shape get a cheap extension cord, you can tend to let the ground hang in the air with one of those, maybe chopping a bit of the plastic off :B

old abandoned house to explore evil cult sumoning ritual
Caravan that needs protecting
Enemy camp with boss
I'm not exactly sure about this, can someone explain if this is a sort of... continually updatable(sp) and changing quest system, so that we never run out of different adventures to go on with our party?
Q: Hi, I'd really like to know if the options of male and female
characters will have different attributes for them or just skin?
A: No there won't be any differences, other than visual. It is just an aesthetic choice.

Q: Hi I wanted to know if the system requirements of D3 will be very high? And little hint if you are gonna use DirectX 10 or 9?
A: We haven't set the system requirements yet. I can't tell you if it can run on very low systems, but we want to set the requirements as low as possible, high requirements are not our focus. No, DirectX 10 will not be required.

Q: Hi, First nice job for everything. My question is do you plan on creating some map editor for Diablo 3?
A: We have not nailed any kind of specifics for map development or editor. But I can say that our games like Diablo are not friendly to custom development because of the random levels system, so its not a priority for us. We have not decided anything yet, anyway.

Q: In Diablo 2 there were runewords. Will you be keeping and expanding this system?
A: Hmmmmmmmmmmm... No comment at this time.

End of the panel.
Im not sure if somebody has addressed this yet, but I did see some runes drop on the gameplay vid, when the witchdoctor and barb took out the guys on the bridge outside. A power rune and something else. Not sure if that means no runewords or not. Maybe magic runes spell stuff?.... getting ahead myself. Im just not seeing them tossing that out, it was too good. Probably just making it a few hundred times cooler, like the rest of the game looks to be!
I actually hope there's no Runewords. Once everyone started getting Enigmas and stuff, it sort of made D2 worse IMO.
True. MFing because useless along with items that were not runewords. It would be cool to have runewords again just as long as they are not better than every single normal item in the game.

Your first post = Completely wrong
I have in my living room, an adapter for a 3 Plug to 2 Plug.

I'm using it for my playstation 3.
And here's a picture.
Actually, he's not completely wrong though. It is just a ground. What that adapter does is give it a bit of a ground. However, you can just snap off the middle pin and it'll work. It's just not a great idea.
Guys just saw the gameplay video
holy shit, i like but my only complaint
well actually more like a quibble
its a little too cartoony,
maybe a littel more grainy and dark so that
u will get the feeling of doom,
but other than that way to go Blizzard!

The game seems more similar to Titans Quest graphically then it does to WoW. It is not very cartoony, it is just simple textures and polygons so the system requirements aren't high. They know the game will sell millions of copy's and low/mid range system requirements help sell the game. It becomes more accessible, look at any of Blizzards other games, accessibility and simplicity in graphics balanced with amazingness is how they do it.
I am liking the style of the graphics very much, a little darker atmosphere might be better, but heck I will settle with what they have now if I have too. And remember it is in alpha I think? So everything is subject to changes and enhancements.

Not sure why people are so worried about the game not being dark enough. Just take a look at the concept art they have on diablo3's main site. http://www.blizzard.com/diablo3/media/artwork.xml
I'm not worried about it at all. Just download the hi-res vid in the media section and look at the detail on everything. Insane physics, and cloth movement. They built a new engine! And this could also be towards the beginning of the game. I mean they were helping Cain out of there. Though it could have also just been scripted for the demo shown, not sure. Just wish people would stop saying its too toony or bright. Just look at how much better that was than starting out at a Rouge Encampment, and hitting zombies in groups no bigger than three. That act wasn't dark, except for the caves and tombs. Going to have our asses blown out people. Don't worry. I have a feeling its going to be better than we all think.

I think it means they're going to make the random dungeons feel more unique.

I also cant wait to see how they will incorporate the destructive environments into the game, I think it could really add a new level to the gameplay.
