why not? as i said: atmosFEAR! would be like playing adolf h. or eisenhower in a ww2 game... its simply not what I expect from diablo 3 and the necro is indeed a human being...
It would be really cool to be playing Adolf Hitler
And the druid transforming himself into a bear is the common mark of human beings?
Dude, diablo is a fantasy game where humans, demons and beasts are an integral part of the game.
Playing the evil side won't ruin the game but on the contrary add to the gamer's expectations of new experiences !
Tyrael, I thought he would look like a super character and once you beat diablo 2 or lod you would atleast get new characters to play with but it's not like that but yeah seeing tyrael as a character would be pretty sweet i wanted to play as him for a long time but it never happened and i'm really hoping that he is a character in diablo 3 .. if he is ..
-he should have a skill to throw his sword like a boomerang and it will come back to him
- Flame sword for a special attack (fire damage)
-Ability to fly
-Able to squeeze enemies to death with his wing type things
- fade
-hover on ground while outside of town but run on ground while in town
-nova
These are pretty stupid but hey this is what I would want plus more skills thought lol but yea i would really like to see tyrael as a character in diablo 3
Death Knight
Paladin
Necro
Mage
Ranger/Amazon/Rogue
Warrior
This is going with the choose good or bad but it should be like...
If your the warrior you do quests but you can do evil things which make you a death knight or good deeds that make you paladin.
Mage
Same thing only evil you become a necro
good you become a priest
Rogue
Same again only evil your an assasin
good your a ranger of peaceful nature freak or something
the first question is, does it fit in the lore, each part of sanctuary has a class around each part, big example is the barbarian lands. if anything, they would have to create a few hell/heaven classes if you were able to choose to join a side, anybody that knows the lore alot can confirm this?
They should prolly take the existing characters and make them better/stronger...coz with the destruction of the World Stone...nephelem powers will go through the roof!
That hasn't been proven. Besides, the effects of Inarius' taint on the Worldstone, which caused man's descent from Nephalem, was undone already.
We don't need demi-gods. I believe that would ruin the story- it would completely throw human relation out the window. And we don't want a game based solely on "l33t" skills. We want a story, too. With people you can relate with and emphasize with.

Except, you know that the Necromancer is the only truly pure class? They are the only class that is trying to maintain the balance and aren't really fighting for anyone but Sanctuary. They are also the only class that has never (and will never) be corrupted.
If anything, the Mage should be the evil class, with priest as the overall class. This is because the Necromancer is a Priest of Rathma and is fighting for the balance. And because the mage classes are the ones that conjured up demons (Bartuc, Horazon). Yes, the Necromancers use magic in a way that makes them seem dark, but they are actually a Neutral Good character. They're just misunderstood man.
I would like to see them bring back the classes of D2 but with an extra skill tree for each and bring back the monk from hellfire. OR you could have 3 very basic classes to start with and at lets say level 15 you get to specify what you want to become. That way you could have a single generic base skill tree for that class and 3 for the one you choose. For example a Mage could become a Summoner, a Caster, or a Buffer. Also if you throw alignment into the mix you would have a Demonic Summoner, and call him a Diabolist, Or a Heavenly Buffer and call him a..... CLERIC!
A werewolf class can be "Fierce werewolf", "nature werewolf",
FIerce, could be a "strike" specialist, sotrong, fierce, piercing, poison, double, ultra-fast or push-back skills.
Nature, could be a werewolf specialized in "bark" (dont know the actual name of its sound), summon other wolfs, invoking a full moon aura to be stronger, weakening enemies with fear. etc. It can even use stealth skills to not be detected. even confuse enemies
THe full moon status, can make you bigger faster and stronger, thus making it all arround more powerfull.
More important than what classes we see, is what classes are unique. We may all want a specific class seen in any random RPG these days, but some of the ideas here don't fit into Diablo atmosphere. The Diablo storyline and terror is the most important, or else it wouldn't be Diablo.
