Jesus Christ you guys. I have never seen a CGI more detailed than this. All those PS3 and Xbox CGI trailers (like assasin's creed) give you a sense of unrealism.
But for some reason, the movement of the girl when she wakes up from the "nightmare" is amazing. I haven't seen cinematics that brings on the human movements and details. I like how Blizzard was able to implement what a real human would do, and apply it to the girl. After she wakes up from the nightmare, I swear, the movements (such as her eyes moving left to right) is 100% human. I can't really explain it, but this cinematics is certainly more "realistic" than those of other games. Normally, a lot of games would not pay deep attention to the face movements, but the new Diablo crew certainly smashed the nail on its head for this cinematic.

And might I add. Her realism turns me on.
She is a Beauty, I am pretty sure in D1/D2 these NPCs ain't that ugly looking, but we just couldn't see their real looks.
Now, with Next-gen, Blizzard delivers... BEAUTY(This girl) & THE BEAST(Diablo)... Not saying they gonna be lovers, but Awesome contrast. I love it!!!

When I first heard the voice, instantly it sounded like the assassin voice to me so I was like..
"Natalya wtf mate??"
Just to realize that this game is set 2 decades later lol We will have to wait until later on to find out who she is.. I don't think she is related to any one NPC we know so far..
The girl here (show at the end), also the Narrator of the Teaser, MUST be very Important to the plot... I would think.
Any ideas to the Beauty is? Think she is one of Diablo 1/ 2's NPCs?
Ok, anyof u play the diablo where after you kill diablo; diablo dies and the guys takes the shard and implants it into his head and becomes the new diablo, well look at that footage and look at this chick, they look very similar, that guy also had a daughter he talked about in gameplay he thought died, this could be her. I dont remember which diablo i think it was 1 im not sure maybe 2. But after looking at both videos and seeing they both look very similar and i think this chick will eventually catch up to u or in the cinematics killl the new found evil. I was sad that none of the orignal bosses were included like the 6 armed nude lady, the first boss, the one in the gameplay footage LOOKED like duriel but i couldnt tell, mephisto coulda came back imo, and its not diablo w/o diable himself, maybe this chick becomes the new diablo and u gotta save her. Because u can deturn someone from diablo back to normal by removing the shard in diablos forhead. but you know these are my personal thoughts, i wish they included the original bosses/characters, with out the necromancer it doesnt seem fun at all, witch doctor looks dumb, the necromancer was awesome!!!!!!!
Diablo III takes place 20 years after the events of Diablo II. This woman looks to be in her mid-20s or early 30s, which would mean that she was only a child when Diablo and Diablo II took place. She also mentions during her narration of the cinematic trailer that she has "seen what the darkness hides," which leads one to assume that she either has nightmares and visions (likely, given the trailer), and/or that she has actually witnessed those events with her own eyes before the events of Diablo III.
Personally, I think this gives us several valid options (if she is or is related to a character from previous games; it's just as likely that she's someone new, as we all know the name "Leah" was mentioned).
While exploring Tristram in Diablo II, we see several corpses in place of where NPCs once stood, with the exception of Adria and Gillian (I might be wrong here; I stopped paying attention to Tristram bodies so long ago, lol). Cain's journal specifically mentions Adria, so it's possible that this woman was, at one point, Adria's apprentice or even Adria herself (Adria's age was never mentioned, though she looks quite young in the journal - perhaps she aged gracefully).
Using this "logic," it's also possible that this woman could even be a daughter of Ogden and his wife (though I don't recall if Ogden ever specifically mentioned not having children, so this remains a possibility). Gillian has been ruled out, since the voices are nowhere similar (Gillian had a heavy accent, remember?).
Her outfit in the trailer makes me believe that she could also be part of the Sisterhood of the Sightless Eye. If you watch the potion of the video of her running through a building, you can see that she's wearing an outfit somewhat similar to what the Rogues wear (it's not exact, but it's close). The building she's in also looks very similar to the Rogue Monastery's cathedral, or the church of Tristram (possibly supporting the Adria/Ogden spawn theory).
The details of her outfit in the screenshots linked in this thread also make me believe that she is a part of the Barbarians, perhaps a daughter of Anya (and Larzuk? haha). Again, this could also be Anya herself, as her voice sounds very similar, and it's assumed that she's quite young during the events of Diablo II.
The music confuses me, though; it sounds like Lut Gholein, and I can't think of anyone she would be related to there, aside of Jerhyn.
I very highly doubt that she's Cain's daughter. If she were, I'm sure Cain would have mentioned it long ago, back when he was charging you for identifying your junk.
Like I said before, these are just options. It'd be exciting if she's related to a well-known character in the previous games, but I'll be just as happy if she's an entirely new character.
Im sticking with what i said, the hidden darkness and nightmares are of her dad turning into the new diablo, she was a baby, play those diablos or youtube them, also during the gameplay it talks about a baby, this could be her, the guys daughter, think about it, during how many games/movies do u see that have their children seeing bad visions of their parents and not brothers or sisters. I keep my thoughts and if im right credit should go to me lol.

When I first heard her voice, my first guess way Natalia(sp?) the assassin NPC in act 3 that did nothing, but had a mysterious background.
Edit: Yay first post
it think its my mom.
Then dont post.. you idiot
