A mage seeks out to find the corpes of the three prime evils when he enters the 3 evils burial grounds The Durance of hate, the Chaos sancutary, and the world stone chamber and takes some of there body parts and goes norh to unknow temple there he does a evil chant for days the banished magic he uses resuirects the evils but they have one body to use so they take the mages body and they slowly find there way back to the durance of hate to restore there power.
i like the whole idea of how they get brought back. Possibly maybe a final boss (at the end of D3) where its a mix between them all. ...THey either look like a mix of the three or u fight each one in diff stages. As all three brothers have a hate for mortal they are all figting eachother to be the true form that kills u. the 2 bosses befor this fight(in other acts) could be the 2 lesser evils. spoke about in the books and first diablo game Azmodan and Belial

please continue your'e plot/story as i along with others (who have not seen it yet love a good story) would like to read a fan created story about the lore of sanctuary
they can only come back if they, or someone else finds a way for them to escape the abyss, where all three current reside.
as they no long have or need their soulstones, once they return to the mortal realm they will be their physical selves reborn, so there is no need for their rotting and decaying corpses.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
yeh i much prefer ideas that are more plausible, im getting pretty sick of the usually fallen angels/last horadric mage bring back the Prime Evils.

Or since the world stone chamber was destroyed a chain reaction brought them all back at the locations they died and to regain power they went back to the pits of hell to restore there army and slowly bring back the minor evils and minions to do there biding once again. But i might just stick to my first plot and add to it.
the worldstone was corrupt, allows demons to pour through the rift between Hell and the mortal Realm. destroying the stone stops this, but not wit hte stone gone the exact affects this will have on the world of sanctuary is unknown.
but i dont think it was bring back the prime evils. abysses and/or voids are pretty hard to get out of, the most common method is some form of summoning ritual. The second most common method of escape comes from the constraits of the victims inprisonment, that is not everyone sent to an abyss or void is sent there forever, some are sent there for a predetermined period of time. in the case of the prime Evils, i think it would be the former, the summoning ritual, or possibly another method, as if i recall there is a third method of escape, not to sure on the specifics, but it s done from the inside, i.e the victims frees themselves.
