As the title states, I'm looking for your A1 Inferno route. I recently hit 60 and am used to farming A3 on my SC Barb.. what route should I take to maximize EXP/Rare efficiency per hour? (Moreso EXP)
with 1.04 changes pure bosses farming become less appealing, although rares are guaranteed with NV.
now, for a HC character i would definitely recommend act1 farming, since EXP given by normal monsters is roughly the same for all acts. even for non-HC character, clearing of mobs in act1 is much quicker than in rest of acts, giving much faster leveling (a boss mobs are only 300% exp of normal mobs).
so, act1 - i choose "talk to alaric", collect Leah and go to cementary of forsaken, explore all 3 crypts and typically get full NV (sometimes 6 or even 7 boss mobs are there). from there i continue alaric quest and get to the end of act1. leah could follow you if you want to clear earlier maps also
anyway, for gaining exp, clearing later act1 is a fastest way, since monsters are killed very fast (and process is even faster for classes who can move quicker through it - eg. monk)
act3 is best for items farming, but you'll need a fair amount of MF%
hope this helps

lol oh well, just ripped.....
was stacking 5 nv, went outside leoric manor with bit lag on spawning outside found myself almost dead in middle of elites cultists right at me, did smoke screen and vaulted away but after ss went down i got instagibbed for rest of hp because of reflect damage. byebye 2500 dex 69k dps dh plvl almost 9....too shocked to rage, good i guess... ^^
1. Check northern highlands for a watchtower spawn, if its not there I remake the game.
2. Clear Watchtower
3. Leorics manor, go backwards hit the 1-2 packs inside / outside in the courtyard.
4. Festering woods, kill the 2 tombs and random packs around the zone.
5. Cemetary of the forsaken, check the 3 tombs for events / packs
6. (sometimes) Highlands crossing, check for the moon clan cave and clear that.

The best thing you can do is develop a mentality which says "Death is natural, it will probably happen before or later" and "Death is only a way to test out more classes!". Those 2 ways of thinking makes deaths easily bearable for me. It could work for you, depending on how good you are to convince yourself.
Personally I fight and die with a smile on my face, and I know I couldn't enjoy anything without a risk. I will recommend this way of thinking to every1. However, it doesn't mean you should be more reckless, just that you should be able to tackle a death. Also, being shocked instead of raging is bad if you know yourself well enough to know you would usually rage, because aggression aint a good thing to keep in (Its okay to rage too, remember to have the balls to begin again)
