Sorry Scyber, if that wasn't what ya'll were looking for with the whole RoboTRex. I was gonna have him damage the ship so we'd have to stay a bit longer to find repair parts. I dunno about that though.
I actually figured that some of the gangsters would stop trying to steal the ship and begin to attack the RoboRex as well, but someone back there posted that they all ran away, so I had to go with that.
By the way, a bullet isn't going to kill a TRex by hitting it in the head, no matter where. There is no way to hit that two inch long brain inside the 6ft long skull. That's a 5cm long brain with a nearly 2 meter long skull, for everyone not familiar with standard.
I was assuming that everyone was going to basically chop the TRex into pieces with blades and gunfire, just pretty much bleeding the thing to death.

Wow and i call myself a dinosaur expert... I forgot they have walnut brains and even added to the story that the bullet ricoched around in his skull lol

I'll be damned if I have to climb another tree. From now on the Squirrels and Birds can come to me.
Kayden witnessed the crew working as a team now. Shots rang out putting out one of the eyes of the robotic tyrant lizard, and yet the beast only slowed for a moment. The brain of that beast was as tiny as a peanut, so it is no surprise that the bullet didn't find its home there.
READ THE POSTS PEOPLE! Please. That is the beginning section of my post immediately after the first two shots were fired.
I read every single word of everyone's post, and even then, I'm sure I'll make a mistake somewhere.
Careful people, or I'll send the Robotic Deinonychus after us.
Oh well, its over now. Lets just try to take our time and read all the posts. Okay?
@MassiveAttack: Yeah, I'm a little bit of a dino freak. I've even still got a Dinosaur Encyclopedia back from the 90's. It's funny going back through that book and looking at some of the few dinos that are now considered to be children of other dino species, and not a different species at all.
Well how about if we post something crucial to the story or battle, that we have a color specifically for that? Hopefully that will draw attention to the word or sentence, allowing us to remember when we go to post.
Would that work? I'm thinking this color would be best for that.
Yeah, I wasn't able to respond either during that whole sequence.
Was more of a "Well screw this" situation when I saw how ridiculously fast the story had progressed, and how ridiculously much people had posted.
We really need to slow this fucker down.
QFT. I have no time to post all day, I have school till 2:30, then football 2:30 to 6:00, then homework, then I have to eat, then only like 30 mins of PC time.
Yeah, I know. I intended to slow it down with the Rex, but apparently we were all a bit too anxious. I'm sure the next fight will be much slower. I figure we should let everyone get in at least one post before someone makes a killing blow on a boss. Agreed?
I'd say let everyone get in at minimum one post before moving the story along substantially, such as in the case of finding the talisman, getting mauled by zombies, and the arrival of the t-rex.

Edit: I have posted, I will be going to class shortly, and will not be getting home till about 7:00 EST (GMT -5:00).
As far as working together, it is tough since we can not all be on at the same time. We just have to do the best we can.

"its the meth tical from statin aisle we'll be back after this message don't touch the dial"
I guess thats either because people post before reading previous posts or because people post at the exact same time...

robotic deinonychus would be even more deadly than a robotic trex
