I certanly hope though taht you do not mean for the Fury warrior to continue as a tank without a shield
If the main tank and the support die, who else has a chance to at least finish off the mob? At least the fury warrior has high def armor, he can deal alot of damage and the healer can concentrate on him instead of the aggro spreading to everyone else and the whole party wiping. Once the mob is done, the healer can resurrect the rest who did die, and everyone's happy.

Yeah. You tell the fury warrior to tank 70 mobs in Shattered Halls and we'll see how well he does (assuming he's not geared in Tier 6 or something ;))
I see what you mean though. If the warrior dies and there's one mob left or so, he might make it. But if it's a boss with relatively much hp left or several mobs, then the fury warrior will fall almost guaranteed.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
Yea, I was saying that if there are like 3 enemies left, and most are around half damage, the Warrior at least has a chance to tank the three at least until they kill the rest of that remaining mob, and the healer can rez the others.
