marriage? possibly. but fighting is gnerally the direction the novel will go in, there is sure to be some for of love interest but it wont be major i dont think, and i doubt it will get all Leia/Han Solo on you, (they eventually got married and had twins).
Whoa...much like Anikan and Amedala eh? Anyways, you are right back on to topic. The fight scene and details supporting it is off the charts you and Carloseus is hitting it on the nail. Everytime I read it, my hair on the back of my neck stands tall and sometimes I sweat. I also like how every participating member gets almost an entire chapter and perspective about them at the time the story is taking place. Overall A++++.
sometimes if your part of a set of twins, you too will give birth to twins.

A++++, lol. id of just said freakin' awesome. but that is what we were going for. something enjoyable. we want you to have as much fun reading it, as those of us who worked on it did writing it.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
its only at chapter 2. i dont recall LOTR being overly epic at chapter 2. but i could be wrong, been a while.

I meant the writing itself, the story is obviously epic, not the writing though. That level is hard to achieve and few have. LotR did start off with possibly epic writing. The hobbit though, that was definately epic writing.
Yea, I wouldn't say my writing is the best. This is my first actual book after all, I've written tons of stories that I've trashed or just stopped working on. LoTR and other such writings are so well written because Tolkien took 20 years to write the LoTR and its related stories. I think LoTR was far better than the Hobbit though, the Hobbit was just stupid little Bilblo running around.
Thanks guys for the support, I really appreciate it. Chapter 3 is almost done, its gonna be huge and you guys will be blown away.

LotR was also extremely extremely.. EXTREMELY long winded. Tolken is the reason people have ADD. Lol
Also, Carlos if you'v read anything by Terry Brooks they may be good for refernces. They are some of the few books I'v actually read. There's about 3 different series I think(my dad keeps track I don't) But they are based on about the same general ideas such as sword and sorcery fantasy type stuff. A very good read, I recommend them for anyone looking for a new time killer.

I loved LoTR, I know not what you speak of. I read the books completely every year, been doing so for the last 3 years.
Most of what I use is LoTR, with some elements I've seen in movies and read in other books. I like to keep it somewhat fast paced though because thats my writing style when it comes to battle, but there will probably be a couple slowed moments in the novel. If you can see, whenever the action picks up like in Chapter 1, the story flows faster than when there is no action.
Terry Brooks, yeh good stuff. and whos the other Terry? Terry Goodkind, yeh. another good writer. (matter of oppinion of course).
i love the language conventions in LOTR, it just sounds epic as your reading it, kinda hard to emulate though if your new to it. Tolkein was a genius, or at the very least excpetionally skilled in my view, when it came to the making stuff sound epic.

I assume that at some point there will be a gathering of the entire clan in the tavern?
Perhaps, won't disclose any information right now. Give me ideas though, what do you want to see? What would you want your character to do? Winston and I haven't gotten all the plots for characters done, so right now its mostly free game if its not me, Thasador, Winston, and Darkjay. We kinda have Darkjay, but we need to work on him, got Stormcat, Nattenshi, Sofa, Fudlow. Just throw some ideas damnit! Its too much for two people to come up with. I'll laying the foundation, constructing the building, and doing most of the work, while my council looks over it and sees that it looks good as well as does the detailing.
Well.. the book doesn't need to be serious at all times. Difinitely need some comic relief in there every so often. And every good story such as this has a time when everyone is in a taver having a good time and acting a little crazy. It would be a great opportunity to.. say.. have a couple of friends who were just recently split up in their legions to be reunited?
prehaps. but let's not add in the funny just for the sake of it.

thats the second time someone's said that to me today.
i dont mind some comic relief if it works or will add to the story, but i dont want it there if it isnt really needed.

Sounds more like a personal problem lol.
Any new ideas or suggestions for the novel?
