(I hope I'm not double-posting, but when I posted it there the first time it dissapeared after 5 minutes for some reason I even tried replying to it, it said invalid something but any ways hope I'm not double-posting.)

UPDATE 1: Called and left a message with the guy that is working on my computer to let me know the status of my computer.
UPDATE 2: He email'd me and call'd me back. E-mail is as follows:
Hi. This is Phillip from CyberPower regarding your order. Our production is behind so it will take us 3 days to finish the system. Also, with this configuration I would recommend a 600 watt, which will be $10 more. I will put the order on hold. Please email me or call me at 1-800-707-0393 ext 110 and let me know if you want to wait. Thank you for your patience. Phillip Yu CyberPower Inc Order #: ******
When I read that message I was about to call back and cuss out the guy. And tell him to cancel my order and I'll get it somewhere. But if you read his message he "Recommends" the 600 watt another words he could have just thrown in the 500watt and not give a shit if my computer didn't run but he recommended that I go ahead and get the 600watt. I finally called him and he said he would try his best to ship it out by tommrow and if he cant he knows he will be able to by wednesday. He is also going to cut the price another words I'm paying for the 5-10 business day but he's gonna give me the 2 day one instead of the 1 day one, and paying full price.
He seem'd like a nice guy so I'm gonna be patient and wait for 2 days. I know you guys dont care but I will update this when the computer comes in. I just wanna show you guys what it would look like and stuff since I dont have anyone else to show it off too. No one around here in RL seem's care so I'll post pics on here haha.

Don't go with 64bit go with 32bit trust me there's way to many compatibility issues bro, 32 bit will run fine.. and you should get a 700 watt + psu if you plan on doin any good overclocking, should of also just went with a good ole G5 or looked into razor mouses. I'm not a fan of that revolution.
As far as monitor goes you should of went with the samsung 22in widescreen it's got a way better contrast ratio and a 2ms response time. 800:1 is pretty poor bud, and "Professional" wiring. Thats just "hiding" the cables in the drive bays heh when you fill those up you'll figure out that the extra money you put towards that wasn't worth it ^_^.
Also check out what thermal compound they used, if they didn't use arctic silver 5 which is in my opinion the way to go you might want to get some it's like five dollars on newegg, and you might want to look into getting a new heatsink / fan combo. I have a bud who got this cooling unit called a Tuniq Tower, it's a really nice cooling unit an really cheap, you can find that all over too. Also your headset heh it's pretty bottom barrel I own one too I have to say it's not that great an it gets uncomfortable after a while. I'm going to be getting one from Edimensional or Steel series soonish.
Hmm, people hate Vista so much. What about the people that hate XP, and still use 2000, or even older? Vista is a great OS, it's just new and different(a little), which I guess scares people that know computer stuff away... lol funny
at circuit city. 3,000:1 contrast ratio, 1680 x 1050 (or something of the sort), 2ms response time. Read a lot of the reviews, actually almost all of them. All of them are mostly 5 stars the ones that arn't are the ones that complain because the monitor is in there face and they've had there eyes glued to it for 2 hours and are complaining about it being to bright / strong.. Well no shit get your ass off the chair, relax your eyes, duh!
Also I read up a lot about you saying the 64 bit has a lot of compatibility issues. Almost all of the people that have it ARE complaining about it. Thanks for saving me 19$ and the hassle of having compatibility issues.
Also about my power supply the one I choose by reviews. They say it's very quite, cool, and the quality of it itself is good and plus I dont know much about overclocking. So the extra money and watts is not necessary. But thank you for giving me that input, it actually saved me from being in such a rush to get it. And actually looking at the small details that yet can cause big problems.
p.s. I forgot about the cooling system. I didn't post what cooling system for my proccesor I was getting maybe you were just doing a reccomendation. BUt the one I have now is a good bang for the buck it's also certified. Not really that big of a thing but it gives me that extra confort. That it's certified for my proccesor. Thanks again your the man!

People who use older versions of Windows usually have their reasons. For instance, Microsoft did not release a proper SQL Server for XP or Vista, they only have one for NT, which is why that platform remains popular.
XP, when it first came out, had many problems, which were later corrected with SP1 and SP2. If you don't have the service pack you better use NT.
Speaking of Vista, first of all, it has problems with old games, including Diablo II LoD, StarCraft, and others. In addition, to run International Cyber Cup (ICCUP, a gateway for StarCraft), the Vista's DEP (security system) needs to be completely disabled.
Also, Vista's memory management is faulty, resulting in slow performance for some games which run well at XP, including even Crysis Demo.
Not to forget the many problems Vista had at early stages such as restricting media players, restricting manual extension change, and many others.
Not to mention that Vista's security system is lower than XP's at the moment.
In other words, half-baked OS. Until it is fixed with SP's similar to how XP has been, I would not recommend it. The only advantage it really has over XP is DirectX10.
Was it really necessary to copy and paste all of that other fluff information? You should edit and just keep the essential parts. Now all you need is to buy another GeForce 8800 GTS 640MB and use the SLI function and you'd be rockin.
As always, I think double-carding is a waste of money. This setup will run anything, and when you need more performance there will be a new card more powerful than double the one you have currently.
Sli is ONLY for people who have extra money and who want to reach maximum performance for some strange reason (cybersportsmen, professional 3D-modelers, etc.).
Yeh I kind of forgot to add in my previous comment that from what I've read and heard from the quadcores is that most of the games out today do not support the technology (YET), I know hellgate can support up to a freakin 16 core processor which is nuts but yeah off topic. The quad-cores at the moment are really mostly used in video editing and digital art manufacturing, shit like that where every bit of performance counts to make stuff "mint".
And another thing, 1x640mb 8800GTS is more than enough for the games that are out, and coming out for a while, the GeForce 8 series are fairly new still, and even if he was goin to get a 2nd he'd have to throw out even more cash for a much better PSU.
Example on why you'd need another card?: ( Recording in game footage of a game such as lets take Crysis for example, you want to run it on all max settings an make a beautiful clip, then you'd need the extra performance that only one card couldn't suffice for. Other things like that quad core help out with this too. )
So yeah grats have fun with the new computer. After I get my water cooling system for my current computer I'm going to build a LAN box and a couple servers. Should be a real hoot.
Probably Stand alone servers for a half-dozen games so people don't have to try an host the games an play at the same time at the lan parties I help run. Nothing real big, other than that I'll probably use them for TS / Vent stuff, and possibly network storage.
Nice wish I had time for something like that. Seem's freaking awesome. I have about only 3hours max a night depends what time i get home from work to play. But with winter coming it get's darker early + my job requires light = more time to play video games YEY!

Quad core is pretty extreme!
I would only change the 22'' screen for a 19''.
That's a pretty big investment.
To find the truth, you must risk everything.
Vistaaaaaaaaaaaa........
Haven't people already learned yet????? WTF!
Other then that, guess me and Likwid are going to have to fight to steal it off the front porch. Yo likwid how old are you?
