I have a confession to make. I bought 20 radiant star rubies for 20 euros (~26 USD) and used 5 of them on my armor and pants, sold like 10 of them for ~200 million gold, and made another 3 into a marquise ruby for my skorn... Now my barb owns and the game is so much fun
I remember a while back before the game was even released i said that whoever buys items for real money is a loser well i was wrong i guess xD
I got no time to farm anymore! everyday i come back at like 7pm from work, do some excersise, take a shower and eat and its already 8:30 and i have to go sleep at 12 am max so that gives me 3.5 hours of free time and i don't want to spend them all on D3... And when i get to the weekends i prefer to go out with friends so yeah...
To be honest I would spend money on the RMAH but I have no money because of uni D: For me, the game is just as fun without it anyway.

Well i can finally farm MP10 with my barb which is pretty awesome. It still takes a while to kill elite packs but i'd say it's quite fast. I heard that most people skip elite packs so i started doing that too whenever an elite pack has extra health or is just based on a difficult monster but still, i like the challenge so it really depends on what i am trying to do at the time.
I spend 5-20$ on steam games every now and then and all they provide me with is a few hours of game time which is the same if i buy nice things off the RMAH in my opinion. It's just that you gotta do the right decisions and it's not always easy.
It's weird though that you can buy radiant star gems for like 80 cents each and sell them for like 20 million gold each... That's like cheating the auction house through the auction house lol...

Thanks. I bought all of those items except for the shoulders (crafted) and obviously the hellfire ring. I think i'm a bit original in that i use andariel's visage cuz no one seems to use it anymore. I still have a stormcrow for when i need to respec for CMWW but this andy helm gives me like 20k dps boost. Mempo with crit is out of my price range at the moment and andariel's with a socket cannot roll INT higher thatn 170 or so...
Other than that, i am trying to craft chest armors and gloves but it's just all crap up untill now
I bought most of those items as one set from a guy on D2JSP.
Oh, that sigh of relief when you find out that an assignment you thought was due incredibly soon is infact due much later on!

I had a few of those. Turned out I was ahead of the game.
One assignment the professor was asking for us to hand in our papers on the next class day. Me being deaf, bet nobody here knew that , I didn't hear topic-decision papers earlier in class when I was getting my stuff out.
(A Topic-Decision paper is where we write a little something on the topic that we chose, why we chose that topic, either a given list of choices or anything we want, and the reasons behind the topic of choice.)
That day, I went to him and said that I didn't even start my paper yet, he was like "you don't know what you're doing for you're paper yet? No topic at all!?" I was like then retrieved my Topic-Decision paper and handed that in.
He then asked how far along I am, I told him I was almost done with my first draft and would have it done later tonight. I thought he was asking for our final drafts, not our topics. He let me screw around for the rest of class, which was grab my phone, open up the Kindle App, and proceed to read about a drow warrior leaving the Underdark for a new life on the surface, with his panther companion.
