*mist parts gently as the massive stinger passes through his torso*

*suddenly he forgets to pay his dues for unworthy consequences , suddenly i was slapped in the face from afar
*turn around to see who my striker might be and was slapped again! STOP THAT!!!!!! I SAY!!!!!!!!
*why did you slap me he asked, the bartender says cause you spilled my mango tea that i poured you just a minute ago.
now he walks around looking at the mess searching for spilt tea, too bad its already soaked into the broken wood.

*Notices the widow is back on Zhuge's crotch, wonders when he will wake up.*
"What, you don't have any actual currency? Damn it... STORMCAT!! ZHAR NEEDS A JOB!! GIVE HIM ONE THAT REALLY SUCKS ASS!!! I KNOW YOU'RE THERE, STORM, I CAN SMELL YOU, *smells something else as well,* AND WHATEVER THE HELL IT IS THAT SMELLS LIKE SWEATY ASS AND DIRTY UNDERWEAR!!!"

Hears the door explode and figures Zhar is back, then hears Venom screaming up there. shakes head and mumbles..."Yep Zhar is back." Ponders on wether or not to pop-in up there or stay down here and keep working on the secret experiment.

*comes in from the back room with a barrel of scotch. sees Zhar talking with Lt. Venom and places scotch barrel on counter behind bar.

Zhar! It's good to see you, old man! Come sit down and enjoy a drink on the house. Eh, no luck finding a body, I see. Well, take a gander at the fresh one in the side room. Might fit your, um, requirements? Either way, no harm, no foul.

Venom, you need another drink? Or are you going to nurse that one til the end of time?

*Confused.*
"What drink?"

*opens door*

Wtf? Is this where all of the old members have been hiding?!

"Umpa! Good to see you here! Nektu, get this guy some excellent scotch and a fine cigar on me!"

*pours a couple of glasses of scotch and places them in front of Venom and Umpa. Pulls a box of cigars out from under the bar and holds it open in front of them.

These are from my private reserve. They are some of the best. Enjoy.

"No thank you to the cigars, I don't smoke. The scotch on the other hand..."
*Puts on an expensive monocle and proceeds to examine the glass of scotch, smelling and finally tasting it. Takes off monocle.*
"Nektu, this is not excellent scotch... It's the best scotch I've had, it's so fantastic that the gods are not worthy of tasting it."

*Slams the entire glass of scotch down, puts empty glass on counter. A little cough escapes from the strong drink.*
"Damn fine scotch right there, damn fine. Where the hell did you get that bottle?"

*smiles

That, my friend, also from my private reserve. It is a 40 year bottle of McCallan. Expensive, and meant for sipping and enjoying.

*looks at glass in own hand and watches as the ice cubes are slowly melting, falling over one another. swirls the glass and takes in the aroma. takes end of cigar and dips it in, then lights it taking long pulls savoring the flavor.

I only break such things out on special occasions.

*Looks at Umpa.*
"Are you ok?"

*Looks around at frozen statues.*

I'm getting tired of this, I'm gonna go pack up and leave.

*Heads down to basement living quarters, and begins packing.*

*Comes back up with moderate sized chest with 3 locking mechanisms on it. Leaves note on counter that reads...*


*Leaves out front door.*

*Comes back through front door. Grabs chest, and leaves while mumbling something or other about forgetting the chest. Completely missed the fact that somebody else was in the tavern... and the fresh scent of blood.*

*Notices the new guy following him.*
*Sigh*... If he thinks he could kill a demonic dragon with such a simple weapon... then he's in for a surprise...
"This is my chest man, and that tavern was active for a very long time. I just packed up and left due to no activity. That note was for either ol' Stormy or the resident grub slinger, Nektu. And umm... how should I put this politely... my feathered companion, Snowclaw, is watching and if you do anything rash, you will regret it, along with the fact of doing something stupid around my huge scorpion pet who will make you into a snack. He's watching you too. Neither of them won't be seen if they don't wish to be seen."

*Notices smell of blood, recalls Nektu's earlier warning on a shapeshifting vampire. Gets very suspicious of new guy.*

*looks at new guy

You shouldn't doubt, but since you do you are in for quite a surprise. Venom, before you do open that thing, let me cast a protection spell first. Remember what happened the last time?

"Yes I remember, Zhar went and broke the vial containing the blood of a Minotaur Lord, it's still very angry about the fact that I still killed it and shoved it's soul back into a new vial."

*Looks towards the new guy.*

"What is your name anyway? I will tell you that my chest has various odd and ends like magical books, jewelry, ancient weapons and armor, potions, camping gear, cooking gear, fishing gear, and the like. And the aforementioned Minotaur Lord's spirit in a bottle, he's bottled because he doesn't stay dead for more than an hour and has a temper of an angry 5 year old. Of course I could drink him or give him to a vampire or such but he still would comeback, after the deed of coming out the other end."

*After a moment.*

"Of course I can just take to the air and still get past your landlocked legs."

"Lt. Venom at your service. And this one here,"
*Acknowledging Nektu.*
"is the fine Grub Slinger, Nektu, who also happens to have some damn fine scotch and imported cigars. Up to him if he shares."

*Starts boarding up the windows*
