Since there's no hope for Diablo 3 improving until 2013, I've looked for other games to get my nerd on. Lately I've been playing The Walking Dead, Guild Wars 2, Path of Exile, Darksiders 2, and I just finished downloading Day-Z.

I played through Dark Souls a few weeks ago, pretty good game. Just finished Far Cry 3, which I also liked. Getting ready for some co-op DEAD SPACE 3 AHH YEA SON!
Started playing Torchlight 2 recently. After a couple of hours into the game I realize how stupid all this discussion about D3's flaws is. TL2 is awesome for an indie game, but all the spells feel so slow compared to D3, the game play is always a bit unresponsive, there is absolutely no story, the itemization is so pointless you just pick up random stuff and replace your gear every few minutes (which at some point doesn't work anymore - it's just too many items)... it feels like "yeah, let's do everything what D3 did wrong and we will do it right" and if you play it for a while you realize why D3 made these design decisions and why they're right. Looking forward to 1.07 and coming back to D3.
TL2, CSGO and I recently purchased Rage over the steam Xmas sales but have yet to play it as D3 hogs up most of my time :0

May the heroes rise from the pit of despair and the bards sing of the day of death renewed to everlasting immortality....awaiting your return to the lands of Sanctuary may peace be with you on this day...your day of birth.

Not sure if serious?! Playing a Hardcore Game like Dark Souls and then Dead Space 3? The most casual kiddy-shooter since the last Call of Kiddy?
No serious gamer will even download Dead Space 3. Its just terrible compared to Dead Space 1.
Just ignore this terrible game and save your time for other games.
I enjoyed DS1 and 2, and I know a lot of people dislike where the 3rd is going but if the reviews come out and are good I'll be co-oping with a friend. Yea it will kill what horror elements are left but I enjoy co-op games. I had a lot of fun with the DS2 multiplayer and that was just pvp. The hardcore mode difficulty in 3 sounds pretty cool too, where if you die that's it. Plus Isaac holds a special place in my heart. Looking badass in his suits while curbstomping and chopping up necromorphs,
Going through all of the Final Fantasy games in order. Still playing the first one with ~40 hours on it. Probably going to be done sometime in 2015 at this pace. Lol..
Also, I recommend To The Moon if you enjoy a really good story. Not much game play elements other than finding 5 "clues" to help you move onto the next area. But the story is so amazing.
Been playing Dead Island: Riptide, although it lacks any new stuff to the game (in reality very little changes from the original), it is still very enjoyable if you are not highly critical of it. Also been playing some HoN and the old reliable NHL13 on my xbox.
I've got a huge backlog on Steam. Darn sales! The better ones I've played lately are To the Moon, Poker Night at the Inventory 1 (2 is ok but not as good imho), Syberia, and Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People. Also, for anyone with a PS3, I highly recommend Heavy Rain if you (like me) feel that story in video games tends to suck.

...and if you disagree with me, you're probably <insert random ad hominem attack here>.
What are you playing?
