uuuhhhh, ryan, its Semper Fidelis, its latin for "Always Faithful". yes out of all the branches i support the Marines the most because of the way they operate. wake up, kill, kill, kill, eat, kill, kill, kill, eat, kill, kill, eat, kill kill, sleep. then wake up and repeat the whole thing again ^^.
I would have to agree with you guys on favoring the Marines. Just think, they have the crappiest gear compared to the Army, but they still get their stuff done and are always the first in battle.

I would have to say for myself its the general Duke( i think thats his name, the general in the first terran stage). He remids me of my old drill sgt., he used to talk with a strong accent and would always remind of him

I am ElDiablo and I come to purge this world of ours of all of the good that it contains. I have survived the Horadrim and its puny counterspells to wreak havoc upon this world and the next once again. To many I am the seed of evil and corruption but to most I am the fallen angel that your lord had forsaken.

Duke? He comes in, follows orders like a blind man following a string, and screws everything up.
Of course, when people think they are superior to their opposition, this is usually what happens, but had he been a skilled general he would have known not to underestimate an opponent.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
I thought it was funny when Mengsk rescues the Duke and Mengsk is like, "Join my army." The Duke is like, "Pfft, whatever, I'm an uber general of the Confederation." Then Mengsk is like, "Oh, c'mon!" And the Duke is like, "Well, okay."
Like in the end Mengsk totally underestimated the Duke's apathy. Even to the point of never suspecting the Duke might stick a knife in Mengsk's back.
Dam Siaynoq you bring up awesome points. I was thinking a lot of the same stuff, but it just wasn't as clear to me. I fuckin hate how they all play right into the Kerrigan's plans... She said she changed and that was good enough for them all...
My favorite is Tassadar. If he were in Brood War he woulda fucked some people up before he sided with the Queen of Blades. I miss him:(
What does 'En taro Adun' mean? I know they always say that, but then Artanis says 'En taro Tassadar' in the expansion. Perhaps its just a saying...

Thanks man. Yeah, it's difficult to play Brood Wars just cause all the characters are being stupid.
En taro Adun, I'm not sure exactly what it means in the Protoss language. But it's somet like "In honor of Adun". Adun was they legendary warrior who was supposed to kill the rogue Protoss tribes but couldn't bring himself to do it and instead hid them. But it was believed by the Conclave that he got rid of them anyway. Thus, the Dark Templar and High Templar both honor him. Just like Tassadar is honored for his heroic sacrifice and that's where En taro Tassadar comes in.
Yeah, I've read the first three, and there's a new series of them coming out. I didn't like the first one as much cause it was based on the storyline of the Terran campaign but only too loosely. And it was kind of disappointing cause you already know how it's all going to end. But it was still kind of fun to read cause it compliments the story of the Terran campaign.
The second one was fairly interesting. It had a cool female Protoss character who befriends a female Terran who has latent psi powers. It was pretty fun to read I thought.
Speed of Darkness is really bleak and mildly depressing but I actually enjoyed it just because it talks about the life of a Terran Marine and shows how dangerous their line of work is. Oh, and how crazy they are too.
Just a side note; there are way too many schemes in Starcraft I think... Hell half the time I don't even know what the hell is going on and I'm just killing zergs or whatever for no reason.
Episode 5 the Terran Campaign was the most boring ever... I couldn't stand it at all. I mean what kind of Admiral trusts a renegade Lietunant over the Stukov guy? And of course we know that Duran has been planning that from god knows when... I wish my schemes would work like there's do.

It was missions like these that made me wish Blizzard games were more open-ended. How fun would it have been to choose to either side with Stukov or kill him. The last time I remember getting to choose anything like that was in the Night Elf campaign in Frozen Throne where you either get to choose to go the long way, or the shorter yet more dangerous way. Kinda lame.
It was missions like those that made me use the cheats to get through them because the quests were so retarded haha. That would be interesting to chose a side though; as it always is.
En taro Tassadar!

There's books on SC just like Diablo right?
