Yep another Kickstarter project we've all heard about many of them. However I being a huge aRPG buff including Diablo, Titan Quest, Torchlight, Path of Exile etc. There just needs to be more. Not just more but more high quality ones. And that brings me here my diabloholics; Grim Dawn is the unofficial spirtual predecessor to Titan Quest. Being developed by just 2 guys and yes one of them is Mr. Arthur Bruno the lead designer of Titan Quest and currently Grim Dawn. They've got most of the game under their belt however they could use just a little more funding from you guys!
Now before you go bashing, it comes down to this. We all love loot and we all love aRPGs not just Diablo. And I personally would love to see many quality aRPG's flood the market so long as they deliver an exhilarating combat, story and loot driven game. If anyone else shares those philosophies go on over check out their Kickstarter page, and if you do happen to like what you see, well that's up to you.
2) Titan Quest was cool and a "spiritual successor" would be cool, assuming it's not in the vein of Flagship Studios, may Roeper burn in hell.
3) You'e the second person today with less than two posts that I've seen start a thread on this site about this kickstarter, and zero threads from regular forum types. Are you affiliated with this kickstarter?

...and if you disagree with me, you're probably <insert random ad hominem attack here>.

If by affiliated I pledged to it than I suppose so. I'v just never used this site as the zero posts I guess goes to show. I usually frequent other gaming sites like giant bomb :). However.. I see no really issue I guess with making an account to create discussion in the off topic area on arpgs in general. I suppose it could be seen as pretty low-life to have such minimal posts and trying to promote the game. However no i'v just been following those guys for a year now and they just put up a kickstarter so i'm trying to do my best to help them out. Titan Quest in my opinion was the best "diablo clone" on the streets and seeing the passion and hard work these 2 guys are putting into this game in a sense makes me wish more people saw it.
Secondly I should have searched and I apologize I guess I would have never assumed someone else would have posted about it.
edit: also no idea why it states zero posts? I should be at a whopping 2 at the moment.
A lot of our forum members are excited for Grim Dawn as well. Actually there are already topics on it in our "Other Games" subforum which you might have missed. I'm not gonna delete the thread but I'll move it to that subforum so people that visit it regularly can see the kickstarter project as well.

Thank you very much should have done a bit of searching first on my part.
personally after playing the closed beta. I agree, the game just didn't turn much on for me. That mixed with the confusing currency system as well as the over the top skill tree.
Titan Quest is my second favorite hack'n slash (but my ranking may change soon )
Grim Dawn is in development since a long time, I hope the kickstarter will boost a bit this project, it looks promising
They are almost at 210k they've added some co-op bundles as well that give an extra copy of the game at a discounted price. They also had some Logitech mice to hand out but they sold out the first day it was announced :(.
