Finally decided to get the game but steam released a news that it wasn't just a forum but more and I'm now scared to buy the game at the moment.

I love all loot fest kind of game! I will be playing all of them for the next few years. Loot fest games I'm looking forward to: LotR: War in the North,Torchlight 2,Borderlands 2 and of course Diablo 3.
No, not soon enough. I take that part very seriously though. I may spend up to an hour creating my character's face depending on how good the customization is. In Oblivion it only seemed good but you could change so much with the face and you still more or less looked the same.
This is one of those rare games that made me buy a game because of hype. Do not flame me for not liking this game in the first place. Just wasn't into elder scrolls. Bethesda proved me wrong before about fallout, hopefully they can prove me wrong again with this game in less than 2 hours
BTW, is it me or the post interface changed O.o
