Me and my co-player Xapti are kinda looking for Nox players, so I am wondering if anyone around here is interested in multiplayer with us. For those of you who don't know:
Nox is an isometric Hack&Slash, without almost any RPG elements. It has a linear campaign which waries slightly with each of the 3 classes. You don't need to build a character to play multiplayer, you just jump in and play like in an FPS. Multiplayer mode throws you in with max level and no equipment, you find it on the ground.
This game has nothing to do with Diablo except being labeled a diablo clone by some people who never played the game.
The game is from 2000 I think, it was made by Westwood, then Westwood was bought by EA and everyone forgot about Nox, it is not supported or updated. It can be downloaded here:
You may need to install NoxQuest on it, and/or set compatability mode of nox.exe and game.exe and all related to windows 98. In the worst case I personally used this torrent: http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/17251297/nox?tab=summary
But the file is .nrg which means only certain programs can mount it and you usually need to burn these to make them work.
If anyone has any gameplay questions you can just ask me.
I don't think so. But people pulled out a map editor and stuff. Since everyone forgot about it people can do whatever they want and nobody cares. NoxQuest is like a common part of Nox now because it patched the game.

I was a Conjurer at first then I was a Wizard and yea... Wierd..
The only thing people can do is make their own nox on a 3D engine.
If you want to play with us or w/e we have a hamachi channel:
Name: nox server
Password: nox
Also, in order to play you need to open UDP ports 18590-18599 on your router in games/port mapping. The game doesn't seem to find games otherwise.
