Okay, so I finally gave in and got this game. And well I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed.
NOT!! This game friggin rocks!!! I've always had a hard time of getting into games of this style, but not this time. It reminds me of basically DII mixed with KOTOR with very very nice graphics, but for some reason, it isn't very system heavy. Excellent programming I must say.
The detail put into this game is incredible. I can foresee myself losing countless hours to this game.
i looked at all the youtube videos and i thought it was friggin repetitive. Especially the one where the mage kills the dragon?? I'm not convinced that this game is so good....

The action really isn't that repetitive, especially if you minimize the use of "pause" like I do. I hate pausing in battle, but it kinda is necessary for healing, and to really put the hurt on your enemy. But it isn't distracting. Honestly I think it looks really cool being able to freeze combat, spin the camera 360*, pick your best attacks, unpause, and then watch the battle commence.
Depending on how you play, it can be highly demanding micro, or it can basically play itself.
The story itself is worth playing through the game at least once. I say that, and I'm lvl 8 near the beginning of the game. The attention to detail is phenomenal!
Yes, my only complaint about this game is the difficulty. It's such an up and down roller coaster; my first character went through Redcliffe first and that first Revenant destroyed me. After about five deaths I went all fighter class and barely dropped him with one left alive. Versus my second character now who is rolling though Orzimmar, the Dales, etc.

Started with shock spells (no other elements), went into all of the mage-disabling spirit spells, some of the blood-related entropy spells, and all of the blood magic spells.
<3 mah mage.

Well, I just took a look at the Xbox 360 PC graphical difference and I really don't see a huge difference. They are both beautifully rendered and there are only some minor graphical touches here and there that make Dragon age look better on PC. As a Diablo 2 fan, I think it is safe to say that I don't really give 2 shits about graphics.
Blood mage is the absolute shit, I love it so much.
I mean... they're pretty damn powerful, you can essentially stop an entire company of soldiers, and turn the most powerful of them on your side. I loved stopping hordes of Hurlocks in their tracks, then turning the Alphas to my side. All the while throwing chain lightning down, and the occasional well placed tempest.

Hahaha even I am loving that game now!!WOW...It really has raised the rpg bar damn high!!Those guys at blizzard have to really work hard now!!
And even my problem with the game is the difficulty...you really have to think hard!!Now I am at a temple doing the urn of sacred ashes quest and I tell you this quest is so damn long that I could not finish it in one day!!Damn those drakes and cultist mages!!!
Hahaha chill scyberdragon!!!You just do what I do(change the difficulty level to easy when the game gets too tough!!)
Man...you know something amazing about the whole game and the redcliffe part.....you know when I went there I REFUSED to help the villages fight the walking dead..and when I came back ,the town became a ghost town!!And I found bann teagen almost dead....and all of the old townsfolk had already become zombies!!Imagine if I accepted the offer to help the villagers ,then the whole story would have been different!!Damn this game is soo realistic!!

Was playing through the game, gave him some gloves, then he started coming onto my character.
Was shocked, and somewhat impressed that Bioware had the balls to go there.

You got a decent PC that could run it?
It's quite cheap, when you take the price of other games into account, and the quality of this game.
So, yeah, I think you get your bang for your buck. Or should I say slash for your cash. /teehee
Some of the shadier forums can give you viruses, too.

Battle not with monsters lest you become one.
