By list I mean't games that are popular not some bullshit that half the gamer community has not heard off..
and the halo series only counts as one unless you want me to do the same
If Halo is your preference to Resistance then good for you. I personally don't like the idea killing someone in one clip (Online which is all halo is good for).
Well, I'm saying from a game standpoint, there are VERY few games that you can 'only' get for the PS3.
Besides the DVD capabilities, there's not much uupside to the PS3 IMO.
not many exclusive titles?!?!
GT5
God Of War 3
Siren
Valkyrie chronicles
Motorstorm
Infamous
Uncharted
Uncharted 2
Killzone 2
Metal Gear Solid 4
Heavy Rain
M.A.G.
FFXIII Versus
Resistance
Resistance 2
...and more
Actually that is why i want the ps3, because the 360 hardly has any great games that are JUST the 360. And for what it has (halo 3, gears 2, and maybe fable 2), a good few go to the pc if they are not already.

Dude you just named like four games that are like 1+ years from even being released. And I already addressed Resistance. Bolded games are games that unless you follow the PS3 ( I do so I know them ) then you wouldn't know of the game. Underlined game is fairly well known.
IMO, PS3 has a very bad library of games compared to the 360 (this is taking into account all the games that is on both systems).
And DGK, you fail at that argument. The games I listed are all VERY well known games. Mass Effect is probably the best RPG released on either system right now. All those series' are well known. The only games I can think of that "aren't well known" would be Blue Dragon, Moto GP, and Lost Odyssey. But if you claim that the rest are obscure then you're just living under a rock, or are bias to the PS3 and trying to bring out an argument. And as far as you saying that you'd rather not use "only" 1 clip to kill someone - you'd prefer less realistic games (Halo isn't even realistic ...) ? I'm not sure what you're trying to get at since Resistance is very easy at killing people. And stating that Halo is only good for online, pretty much saying that single player story mode sucks, shows your extreme bias. Halo has an outstanding story.

In Halo It takes a whole assualt rifle clip + melee to kill someone, thats bullshit. In resistance you can down someone in half a clip and live if you get attacked in the process.

AGAIN...I said EXCLUSIVE..INCLUDING PC!
lol i have already stated this NUMEROUS times saying that I have a pc mass effect is INDEED on pc aswell. That along with many other games such as gears, alan wake, older halos and fable. So what does the 360's line up leave me with this year....star ocean IV is about the only interesting title, seeing as to how halo wars interests me zero percent.
If Star Ocean gets amazing reviews it MIGHT sway me somewhat in my choice.
Im normally not one for consoles anymore....ps1 and n64 being the last console war I payed attention to LOL....and im also one of them old games are better people....but shit I played god of war 1 and 2...there pretty amazing man....im buying a PS3 for god of war 3 alone, tho obviously ill get other kick ass games on it...../enddumbstory
Personally with all the kick ass games coming out on both systems at the same time id just stick with the 360 till the price of PS3 drops a fair bit and some of the good exclusives are out and buy it then and keep your 360...get the best of both worlds

Alright, I bolded all the games I've heard of.
Also, Ninja Gaidan was originally for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Just an fyi.
But yea, honestly, the Xbox games look better honestly. That's why I just gone one this past friday. (Yea, go ahead and laugh, the Nintendo Fanboy got a 360. Bastards.)

Now go rage all you like fanboy
You're the one raging because your system broke. Which either stems from you A. Not being intelligent enough to place it in a properly ventilated area, or B. Your system actual has broken one or two times because of M$'s shitty components, but the other two would most likely fall under A. I've had a system break before, and it was because I had it in an entertainment console, in a tight space with almost no ventilation. I've kept my current one in a well ventilated area and it's fine. (That's not to say that the 360 is made very well - but if you don't treat it like shit and you actually know how to take care of it it works fine)
And I hate to say it, but if someone hasn't heard of those games then they're living under a rock.
The games I mentioned are very well known to anyone who follows gaming. (That does NOT include just following the 360.) Anyone who ever glances through a gaming magazine, or checks out a gaming website or outlet will have heard of 85% of the games I mentioned.
If you haven't, do yourself a favor and load up ign.com and check them out. If you haven't heard of them then you're obviously not a gamer. Casual gamer, most likely. And there's nothing wrong with that.
Secondly, I never said you were bias for the PS3. I said you were bias AGAINST the 360, which you obviously are because you feel some sort of hurt because your systems breaking.
And lastly, my bad for the Halo attacking w/e thing. I thought you were angry that it "only" took one clip to kill someone. A misread on my part.
haha...well i love all systems and hate them all. All the companies have something bad and good about them.
360 - bad hardware (yes you should treat it good, but face it, it is probably the most unreliable console ever made. I have not had the rrod, but it has frozen a good 5 to 10 times for the half a year that i have owned it)
PS3 - IMO the controllers, and the fact that i always heard Sony to have bad customer service. That being said, who is going to need it with how well built the PS3 is.
Wii - I love Nintendo, their First party games, and their reliability. But the fact of the matter is the hardcore gamer is getting shafted with the wii. If they make MANY more amazing games (zelda, metroid and more) i might get one closer to the end of its lifecycle.

And let's not forget that the playstation gets OMGWTFPWND by the 360 in terms of it's online play in terms of service, community, and content.
Hey, if Blue Ray is that important to you, go right ahead. But I really can't find a good reason for me buying a PS3 other than "I could". Looking back, I probably would go with PC upgrades. I'm playing Resistance right now and am enjoying that a lot. But I already beat MGS, I have the two resistances, little big planet, and then I think of games to get and nothing seems any good that I couldn't get for the 360.
Hey, if you want, you can buy mine. [/kidding sorta]
And last but not least. I'm not sure how Resistance can be termed as "amazing" and "much better than Halo". I found it a lot easier than Halo (or am). And also it seems like you have to be fucking Rambo and run back and forth dodging fucking ammo that heat seeks to you.
Also, Resistance is ABYSMAL at story telling. I'm enjoying the game, dont get me wrong, but you have like 10 minute long levels, and then a black and white picture cut scene telling things. Knock Halo all you want, but it was magnificent at driving the story and telling it.
Of the list you made, the following are truly exclusive titles (no pc)...oh and saints row 2 is on pc, ps3, and 360....so i dont know how you figure that constitutes exclusive.
Gears of War 2 (Might come to pc)
Halo 3 (might come to pc, but not as likelye as gears)
Halo Wars
Halo ODST (this is more of an expansion and is a given that its exclusive as it IS halo 3.)
Halo: Chronicles (Is this announced to being made and being an FPS? I am so confused.)
Blue Dragon Series (didnt this game suck? Have they announced more of them?)
Beautiful Katamari (this game looks horrible)
Crackdown (first one sounded too short, but if they make a second it might be really good)
Dead or Alive Series (Next installment is not a guarenteed exclusive, but probablly.)
Fable Series (II is probably the only fable we will see on 360 and it MIGHT come to the pc.)
Forza Motorsport Series (honestly i dont really like racing sims that much, and if i was to play one i would want it to be on a pc or ps3 so i could use my G25 steering wheel.)
Lost Odyssey (looks very good)
Moto GP (got HORRIBLE reviews)
Ninja Gaiden Series (I should play them, but it seems as though god of war is a stronger series)
Perfect Dark Series (how is it a series? It is unlikely that they will make another after zero.)
Star Ocean Series (We dont know that there will be more for 360 beyond IV, but probablly.)
Games you missed:
Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts (good game, TOO EASY!)
PGR (better than the other racing games you listed IMO)
Tales of Vesperia (love the game so much)
Viva Pinata series (haven't played them and i cant decide if i wanna buy TiP or not)
Kameo (Not the best game around though.)
..and maybe more...i cant think lol
p.s. - Final Fantasy is now on the 360, but it still doesn't get FFXIII Versus (which may rock or suck...prob rock though) which kinda frustrates me.
The next gen consoles are right around the bend.:D;)
Until then you have Starcraft 2 (soon) and probably (hoping this year) Diablo 3 to contend with. Owning a ps3 and a 360.. I find recently they just collect dust aside from playing the odd movie.
I was seriously unimpressed by both the 360 and the ps3. They have some good points... but nothing to possibly contend with the success / family fun factor of the Wii. Everyone can enjoy Wii, literally.
Be sure to see more user interactive gaming in the next gen consoles which really are not that far off...
Serious man.. unless you need to have a Ps3.. I would just wait. Why switch from crap to dung? lol
I don't think there are many decent exclusives on either side. Most games mentioned here are what I consider not even worth my attention. I mean, Blue Dragon? Seriously? LOL

Ive been thinking this to with this gen of consoles....last gen had a ton to offer and even tho i nvr got any of those consoles I will eventually buy em aall and all the great games on them. This gen tho it seems its all about boring fps games...some are great I wont deny it but hell its THE genre right now and I have no interest in them like I used to....and besides seems llike most all exclusives are on PC eventually anyways....or are on PC at release(capcom games) The systems dont have a whole lot to offer this gen it seems at least compared to previous generations....at least imo
Well my post will be somewhat biased to PS3 since that's the system I own. I must admit the Blue-Ray player is amazing. If you are willing to spend the money on blue-ray discs they are well worth it.
Also being able to go online free of charge is outstanding. I have not had any problems with my PS3 so I can't comment on the customer service issues I have heard about.
As far as the online community goes, I have yet to play a game that had any issues with finding games and whatnot. There are assholes in every game so maybe that's what people are refering to when they say "bad community?" I'm not sure, luckily I can turn on the headset and set it aside if I really want to.
I think someone asked about price drops... as far as I can remember the price has stayed pretty much the same but they keep throwing more and more into the package. So your paying the same price but getting more stuff with it, still seems good IMO.
The controller issue is your personal preference. Personally, I hate the x-box controller. If someone could fill me in, does the x-box controller have the six-axis type ability? I have to admit, being able to thrust your controller forward and smash someone in the face by doing so is pretty sweet.
Also, I believe, but don't take me at my word for it, that I read somewhere Sony is working on several games that will push the PS3 to it's limits within the next couple years. I'm truely looking forward to see what the system can do.
All in all I think if you get a PS3 you won't be dissapointed. The games you mentioned are all great, I own most of them. I'm thinking of getting LBP, I've heard only good things about it. I'm on my system just about every night whether it be playing games, watching movies, or just surfing around the net watching funny you-tube videos. Don't know if this helps at all in your decision but I'm way stoked with my PS3.
You're the one raging because your system broke. Which either stems from you A. Not being intelligent enough to place it in a properly ventilated area, or B. Honestly I sit here and play my 360 atleast 4-5 hours a day playing Gears of War and I almost never play my PS3. But I have enough common sense to know which system is better (The PS3) overall and which system has games that fit me better (The 360), only reason I own a 360 is for Gears of War 2 and personally I believe it is the greatest shooter of all time followed closely by the 1st Resistance.
Im sorry, im not going to waste my time and look up a game called Blue Dragon or any other random bullshit. If it was a good game I would know about it.
Its true actually my first 360 broke due to a badly venelated area, however the other 3 broke due to microsfots shitty components. I have never had trouble with my playstation 3 and the record I have left it on for is about 4 days (Back when you could not download demos while you played games)
If I am so bias against the 360 why do I have my sig and avatar set as Gears of War 2, why is it I play around 4-5 hours a day, Why is it I keep sending this shitty system thats broken down on me countless times to microsoft every fucking time.
Believe me, I enjoy the system but I know the line between a good system and a bad one and in my eyes the Playstation 3 is a MUCH better system.
I don't think there are many decent exclusives on either side. Most games mentioned here are what I consider not even worth my attention. I mean, Blue Dragon? Seriously? LOL
lol you picked the worst game mentioned! How do you not consider God of War 3, Halo 3, resistance, heavy rain, tales of vesperia, lost odyssey, star ocean IV, FFXIII versus, killzone 2, Gears of War 2, and many others to be more than decent games?
PC is my favorite system, but the fact of the matter is there are games on the consoles that i love (RE5 and more), so i need to be part of that
oh and btw, one of the reasons this generation seems kind of bland is because nintendo usually bring the best games and they are lacking this gen with the wii IMO. I hate the direction they are going and i did sell my wii for a 360, but that being said i will probablly buy a wii again because i cant stay away from zelda, metroid, mario and other games for too long lol. I miss them :'(.
but that being said i will probablly buy a wii again because i cant stay away from zelda, metroid, mario and other games for too long lol. I miss them :'(.
Amen. I'm not a Wii fanatic, but those are the reasons I bought my Wii. I, too, wish they didn't go this route. Despite the appeal it has to an uneducated (in terms of gaming) casual gamer, it desperately lacks in what I believe has defined a good system and many good games for generations. Most of their titles are just multiplayer games that have no rhyme or reason, and honestly, it doesn't feel like gaming when I have to focus on moving on top of the actual game. If I want exercise, I go for a run or hit up my friends for a little soccer. If I want a game, I expect full orchestrated musical brilliance, a resounding story line, and optimal visual graphics. Period.
However, for what the system is doing sociologically I appraise it. It's breaking that wall that has separated in most peoples' minds all other forms of entertainment and itself. It's becoming more commonplace and will likely garner more positive acclaim than it has in the past- when the older generations simply passed them off as entertainment and not an art, because movies are so different.

I picked one of them... *shruggs*
GoW 3-2? Didn't you just compare them to Resistance?
Halo 3? I keep hearing it's much worse than 1 and 2.
Resistance is the most horrible relatively popular FPS I have ever played, including DooM, and I hate DooM. I don't understand how this excuse for a video game ever got anywhere. I guess that's saying something about the deterioration of intelligence in the population.
Heavy Rain is interesting, but it's not out yet.
Tales of Vesperia? Please don't tell me you mean this game: http://static.gamesradar.com/images/mb/GamesRadar/us/Games/T/Tales%20of%20Symphonia%20-%20Dawn%20of%20the%20New%20World/Bulk%20Viewer/Wii/2008-04-16/screenshot_172--article_image.jpg
I dunno about Lost Odyssey, the fact that it's Asian annoys me a bit.
Star Ocean IV? FF ripoff # 342325?
FF13Versus: yes, I'd rather play this than Vesperia, Star Ocean, and the rest of its clones.
Don't know much about Killzone, it's our next candidate. Although, after Resistance, we're a bit wary of popular FPS titles. They're going down the drain with alarming speed.
What's funny is that you didn't mention one game that I actually consider worthwhile. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. We must have drastically contrasting tastes.
I am just putting my two cents in. So here it goes. It depends on what you like. For me I have all the three systems, and they all have good games for it, but you just have to see which ones you like more, and if they are just on that one system. That is why I bought all three of them, because they have greaet games on all three.

Why switch from crap to dung?
Believe me, I enjoy the system but I know the line between a good system and a bad one and in my eyes the Playstation 3 is a MUCH better system.
lol you picked the worst game mentioned!
But I still stand by my argument that the 360 is a best "GAMING" system for people. (Besides the PC. PC > All else)
The numbers don't lie, either.
CyberPunk RP Nexus
