Yes, it is very sad that almost everytime something nice is released someone crys over something, 80% of the so called "Woman" on ps3 home are men trying to turn other men on so they can have a good laugh about it. (No offense to any woman here if you really are a woman on ps3 home).
The word "gay" is know also pretty much now an insult, It may not of been before, but people now use it as an insult.
as for the Jewish people, i do understand what they are angry about. Sony should not of blocked the word, "Jew" in the first place but aren't they overreacting a bit.
hehe I can't imagine ever playing such a game, but if you like it, that's all that matters. It does look like it has great graphics. Can you get a spouse in the game and physically abuse them? or like try to rape high school kids at lunchtime and stuff?>
They need to make a serial killer/rapist game like this where you can stalk your victims for years even... poison their food if you want, slip them roofie's from time to time.
The ultimate goal in the game would be to have a family like in the the Devils rejects....
The possibilities for a game like this are endless........
My ex girlfriend actually enjoyed being Rickrolled, she was in love with the song, and the brit that signs it.
After reading that article, I was almost in tears laughing, good luck with that one! It would be far more simple to just to implement an option inside the system settings that blocks all forms of chat and communication with others players. Aside from that there is no other way to regulate the hate....... I know of people that deliberately rent children's games just so they can go online and poison their young fresh little minds. The rating on the cover is complete BS as most parents or older siblings will buy them the game anyway. Aside from physically writing a cuss word on the wall with your bullets or something, the youngens would be safe this way. Just a simple feature with a passoword the parents can set, that blocks all form of chat and messaging, the only people in question here are children..... if you are an adult and you feel offended on the servers you know there are ways to block communication......... or you could just suck it up, no matter how bad it may seem, they are only words, and they only hurt you if your mind is weak enough to let them.

Yes, a game like that would no doubt be a best seller and probably exceed the Grand Theft Auto series with great ease.

Personally, after reading the article I felt like going to my PS3 and playing this game (as a female) just to laugh at all the insults I'd get.
Yeah, i did that its pretty funny how all the guys run up to you and start dancing, and then some guys start to suspect your a guy.
Madden exists so people who have no chance to play professional football can play professional football in some capacity. Same goes for all sports games, racing games, and games where you kill hookers or terrorists.
Here lies Home's problem. I can walk around and talk to people. I can furnish my residence. Hell, I can even go bowling. So can most people. Not only that, but the odds of me waiting in line to bowl in real life are lower than in Home. Piss poor design? You bet.
You've been goodguyed. (I think this should be the new term for owned/pwnt on this forum.)
But can you do all that from your couch? You've been murderfaced.
That's the same problem on any online game. Or online, period. No one has any basic, inground-from-childhood moral restrictions that make for civilized society because they don't take a personal beating for any repercussions. I mean, just look at Battle.net, profanity, racism, flames on religious persons (given, they shouldn't be playing DIABLO to begin with, lol), and the like are constant. Just sign in and float in a channel for a few minutes. This has always been a reality for gamers. It's a stupid thing for anyone to complain about.
And, what happens when media interfaces like this become overwhelmingly present? It's been happening gradually since the dawn of the internet, it's not going to stop anytime soon. Will they be able to restrict anything they deem "offensive", thus condemning free speech, the conversation of controversial points of view, and the like, to a deep, dark grave?
Censoring internet language is the thing that finally pissed me off. I really couldn't care less if they had children being thrown in meat grinders and raped by zebras. Impeding free speech is the staple of the internet. Freedom is the staple of the internet. And it's what I've grown up on and have invested my life in, and it's what I want to contribute to when I'm older. This is ludicrous, I'm sorry.
You don't teach morons to behave morally by adding more restrictions, they just find ways around them. This really ticks me off
And this is coming from a Sony Fanboy. Good thing Squeenix isn't based on a single platform anymore.

I believe goodguyed is the only acceptable noun turned verb here.
