No rush. just get another copy. I don't have a full party of 6 people ready yet.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Man what was up with you not being able to connect. Everything seemed in place. You might have to try disabling your fire wall or checking that BGII is allowed by your firewall.
Or seeing as you cant join a game, we should see if others can join your game.
Yea. I know I don't have a hard firewall box but you know Vista. *Rolls eyes.* I'll see if I can find any software firewalls. If not I'll try hosting. And if that doesn't work, well, have fun without me I guess. o.O
$10 says your problem is Windows "Bug"sta. any takers?
Yeh gotta try it with you hosting.
EDIT...
Just tried to get a game going with Stormcat, now I can't connect. Seriously, that's like the first time that's ever happened.
Tried it with me hosting, works fine, save for my incredibly slow connection (56k).
So tried with LinkX, and then I got a different problem. What what gives? work fine for me and Stormcat last night, and we didnt change any settings of any kind, and it's not like there is some Battle.net sever to go down and through a wrench in the works.

Connection issues, keeps offsetting us. Even those of us who can normally connect no problem.

It doesn't use CD keys. It's from the Diablo 1 era of video games, things didn't have CD Keys back then. Unless it was a Microsoft Program.

"You are like a rose in a great rose field. Each rose is so beautiful to me. But if one dies... I can still look at many other roses..." God of Darkness.
ya about time that thing downloaded. but now how do you open it. you said something about alchohol120% or whatever. what do you do to open it?
You mount it using Alcohol or DT. Open the program, drag the image in there, mount it onto a virtual drive and it pretends you have a CD in your drive.
Elfen could you give me that website with all the BGII patches you are using? I got BGII + Throne of Bhaal installing right now and I want to have all for it so that if I want to play with you guys it won't forfeit my save games.

You will only need the actual game patch. The mods are optional, as everything gets defaulted to what the host has installed. Even if it is none.
I have lots of mods installed, so if I was to host the game, you would all "get" the mods while you played, however if someone without any mods was to host, I would "lose" the mods i have installed.
Well i wouldn't lose them, it's not like it uninstalls them or anything, it would just be like playing an unmodded game, even though my game is incredibly modded. It would only be in the game with all of you that I wouldn't have any mods installed, or alternatively have whatever mods the host has installed that i don't.
