Age of Conan will be out soon. Early access is this Saturday, I hope it lives up to the hype I have for it now. If anyone cares I am rolling a Tempest of Set on Deathwhisper with a handful of WoW friends. If you are getting in the early access and want someone to quest with you should definitely roll a character on Deathwhisper with us!
To be honest. The only MMORPG that I like is WoW. The other ones are too "slow" I feel like I'm in an action packed movie while playing WoW (well don't play it anymore but use to for about 4 years). Because it's faced pace, lots of action, and never the feeling of I'm playing a card game where it feels like it takes 5 minutes before you can do your next move.
And thats probably why I like diablo2 also. Lots of action slice threw mobs upon mobs upon mobs in seconds. Thats what I call fun. Now some games I do like slow paced, like shooters. Even with battlefield the probably most arcadey FPS game I know. I like to try to be tactical. And everyone else is just running around with there head cut off throwing nades randomly. Yea it's fun for the first 5 minutes but not when you have been playing the game for years and just wanna sit back and enjoy the game, because trust me theres much more to it then throwing nades for 2hours. But I guess that's why I got the Project Reality mod which is probably the best mod I've ever seen made. Lots of support, and lot of new content. I swear those guys need to make a company and show these other companys how to manage a game.

You should check out Age of Conan. Based off that, it seems like a game you'd really like.
I haven't ever felt a great desire to jump into the MMO scene, but I might check this one out.
So... Keaira... how you doin'?
And, NO, she's not the only reason the game looks interesting to me. There was a game-play trailer that depicted a one-on-one battle between Conan and some dude; it was next to a campfire at night, I think.
Anyway, it was pretty neat, especially Conan's finishing move.
I was gonna post a link to the trailer, but the site is getting some really heavy traffic today, and it was taking an eternity for anythng to load, so I bailed.
WAR (Warhammer Online) is coming out in October, and I have a safe bet that it is going to surpass WoW why?
WoW: Burning Crusade - Game Released due to WAR updates
WoW: Wrath of the Lich King - Information released to to WAR release date (month)
The following expansions of WoW is due to WAR, the reasons: only one can guess. Due to Fear, Rivalry, Competition, who knows? But it is clear that WoW is upgrading TOO FAST due to WAR

Are you joking or do you actually believe that?
Roberts, what kind of other MMORPGs have you played? I would personally think WoW wouldn't be too action packed all the time, considering the amount of grinding involved in the game, as well as time it takes to get teams if you want to do something fancy. I haven't played the game myself, but heard a fair bit about it.
I don't know what some of you guys like, but I think I heard AoC is a game which tries to focus more on player skill than just grinding and time played (first game like that was Guild Wars, then came Fury. Neither were really MMOs though, due to instancing). I don't know what mechanics are used to implement that in the game though, and so for that reason, and general lack of interest, I'm not really considering this game unless it really turns out to do well. (which I'm thankful for doing with Fury)
