The GF convinced me to sit down and watch this - I'm still not entirely sure how I'd rate it because I'm still pondering wtf went on in the movie. It's probably something you should never watch while "expanding your mind" if you catch my drift... your head might explode.
Also, I'm now afraid of china dolls.
It was good I guess - I don't feel like I just lost 2 hours I'll never get back!

It's an fun movie overall, Nice visuals and action scenes, but the later could've been a little more thrilling.
I think some character were a bit shallow (the Earth characters). The plot idea (Loki's being jelous and ploting and Thor not striking back because he loves his brother) was really cool. Loki is such a great villain because his not entirely evil.
Movie rating's don't mean much, a perfect example is a comedy movie, unless you like the kind of humor they use it will be rated poorly, it's all subjective like art.

Playing Diablo since 97. I know nothing and having nothing good to say, I be a troll.
As a comic book fanatic, this film is a dream come true. The actors and scripts were all perfect, even Mark Ruffalo did a great Banner. Couldn't have asked for more. The scene at the very end, the special appears by a certain Mad Titan was just icing on the comic book cake.
I think the film will have far less appeal to people who aren't into the comic books, I doubt they'll understand most of the sweet little extras, like Tony Stark referring to himself as an LMD, Thanos and the remark about courting death, or who Maria Hill is. My girlfriend told me that her one friend doesn't really know what most of the stuff that's happening are about and find it all rather confusing. Also, while walking out of the theater I actually overheard someone telling a friend that she fell asleep. I'm glad many people are supporting the film, but really, I believe this is a film for Marvel enthusiasts.
Great super hero movie, great action and great humor.
Sadly i was forced to watch it in 3D, i would have probably liked it more if it was in 2D.
I hate how everything is in 3D now... when will this fad go away.
AMEN! The glasses never fit me right, so I'm forced to hold them on my face the entire duration of the movie otherwise I'm stuck looking at torsos for 2 hours <.>
3D ruined Avengers for me too. Plus the boys decided to purchase tickets 15 minutes before the movie started even though I told them to order online.. so we wound up sitting in the front front front frooooooont row. My neck still hurts 3 days later.
Although let me re-phrase: I love the movie, I just didn't enjoy the cinematic experience

Don't forget you pay a extra couple of bucks at the movie for 3D as well... in any case I can't wait to go but I'm busy and want the line ups to die off. Couple of weeks. I predict a 8.5/10

Good humor, good visuals, AWESOME action. All the characters are entertaining in it's own diverse way. I think the plot is a bit confusing and predictable at the same time, which is strange. I think they should've invested more on the avengers team... I mean the whole "ego conflict" problem the team initially had and how it is solved. Imo there are scenes that could have been little shorter imo (Loki beign threatened by the weirdo alien; Ironman caught in the hellcarrier's helix; etc...).
Extremely entertaining movie, but it hardly moves you (unless you're a marvel comics fan, it seens).
The humor, action, characters, acting, music, story - everything was amazing. I watched it in IMAX 3D and I thought it was great. I REALLY enjoyed Thor in 3D, but I didn't have any problem with Avengers 3D like others are saying. I think my wife and I would both like to see it again while it's in theaters.
The glasses are always slightly disruptive or distracting, that's my only 3D complaint. I look forward to the day when we can watch films in 3D without them. =)

Same as Nuvian for me - he 3d sucked so bad... and I'm wearing glasses for almost blind people, so I had to put the 3D glasses over mine AGAIN. Gh. But the movie.... I'll watch it a few more times when it's AVAILABLE IN 2D!
3D in general is quite overrated in my opinion, the technology isn't quite there yet in, it lessens the movie experience in my opinion.
Glad i am not alone in this, i never understood the 3d hype.
Bill and Teds Bogus Journey for the billionth time. 10/10 It was most excellent!

Great movie, a lot of humor, action, drama! It's got frikkin everything! Best action hero movie ever!
10/10
It's on Netflix Instant. Fantastic Korean movie (has English subtitles)
7.5/10
good but nothing great

Loki tends to get jipped the entire movie, and tops it off by getting ragdolled by the hulk.
Brilliant stuff!
