Does anyone know what could be hapening, and how to possibly fix it?
Heres whats up, Im a technical guy myself usually, but I cant get this one... My internet is not working and not being able to connect to,*using wireless modem) and is acting all odd. Most of the time itll display that it cannot connect to any networks, that our signal isnt being found. Randomly for maybe an hour at a time, its being found and working, then going back out again. Ive reset the modem, switched our connections, connection spots, and switched the orders of our lines (we use 3/5 connections) to see if one of the slots isnt worrking, no avail. Ive unplugged it and let it relax, hooked it back up, still nadda. Ivve done about all I can think of that has ever fixed a no-networky problem, and nothings working.
What really getds me, is the random hour or so of connection, and loss again, and that we have cable through the same company, so when our int is down, usually our cable is too, but its been fine... Tried swithing to a different modem(yea weeve got a few) and its still not working.
Any ideas on whats going on anyone? I miss posting with all of you... lol:(

no, we hooked a new router to the whole system so it would work for all our connections. The int isnt just doing this on my labtop, all our laptops and computers are getting this problem. We have tried resetting it, and even doing the unsecured network, still no change.
idk if it helps, weeve got like 5 or 6 slots for connections, but we use one for for each home computer(we have two) and a wirless piece for the WLAN n our 3 laptops, and even with one sending signal to whichever are in use, even all 3 at once, weve never gotten problems from that.

umm the waetherss been fine im pretty sure.. I did read somehwere that certain kinds of wireless share frequencies with a few types and very few, of phones and microwaves, but our phones on constantly, my sister dates a guy in south carolina so shes like never off, and its never been this kind of problem. As for WLAN, i have no idea what that even means or is, it just pops up on my labtop WLAN Wireless assistor... Yea, we dont have satalitle, but our 3 labtops share wirelss, and our 2 comps are wired int. I havent tried pluging in an actual cable as opposed to the wirless, but thats because the comps arent working either, when this happens, none of the comps or laptops get int but for the little time it gives us.
We use Linksys if thats any help, my neighbor has the same, (inksys) and hasnt had this occur. Its been going on for almsot 2 1/2 days now so im doubting weather. If I cant get it working ill get ahold of the provider...
