Ok, if you can SOMEHOW make some kind of logical comparison to Gretzky becoming physically degenerating, enough that he can't compete with his prime, TO developers of the old Diablo series, who aren't degenerating through age.. Then I will raise your level from a stupid douche bag to, a not so stupid douchebag.
Just going to give yall the info the HG:L and Mythos forums will be shut down at of mindnight on the 18th. But they haven't said any thing about the HG:L and Mythos web site or the FSS web site for that matter and they haven't said when or if the server are going to go.:(
Meh, didn't like the company anyways. Always trying to copy Diablo... Why couldn't they just come up with there own game ideas? Lazy? Quick buck? Well I bet they learned there lesson. Diablo 3 developement started before Hellgate: London ever existed. Yet hellgate:london was released a year ago. And Diablo 3 is still in developement. You can tell just by that they didnt put any thought into it. They just took abunch of Diablo stuff and tried to rehash it. Put it together and threw it out there.
Mythos is the same way but a lil more closer to the Diablo world and well even a lil funner. But yet again same thing as hellgate:london.
they made d1 and d2.....
it was there idea so they can borrow from them selves
First the closure of Flagship was NOT a good thing. A lot of people lost jobs and at the moment they may find it hard to get new ones. Consider the human angle here.
Hellgate was a brilliant concept and could easily have been seen as a sort of ersatz DIII but the failure was in the execution.
The basic storyline whilst being potentially good was not presented well. There were problems with graphics and animations and the overall 'look and feel' of the game.
The failure of Flagship was due to the fact that their core product didn't find market acceptance. It has nothing to do with Blizzard or Blizzard North.
Perhaps the management of Flagship would have had more success if they had remembered the one essential mantra:-
CLIENT FOCUS!

Agreed.
If Gretzky played today at his prime, he would still wipe the rink with the opponents behind.
it isn't irrelevant, stop being a fanboy
this is why gaming is a joke to so many people
