So, I basically loath IE. Lte IE 7 basically all suck, none of them standards-compliant. But, I was Googling, just out of curiosity, IE 8, and apparently, due to IE 7's massive marketing failure, this next installment is actually going to be standard-compliant! Hurray! Thought I'd share that.
IE7 doesn't suck. It's a bit slower than Mozilla, but I don't see any other problem besides that. Also, spyware doesn't matter if you have a scanner/blocker, though that's always a good feature to have on an internet browser. Mozilla isn't too fast either, but I'm a fanboy.

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
IE sucks because it isn't standards-compliant when you're programming sites for it. Many of the very useful codes that browsers like FF let you use, IE does not. It also has some of its own tags and such that are not on par with W3C standards. It also has its own rules for margins and padding, which is a pain in the buttocks. All of that makes it a living hell for some poor person who's trying to make a website with cross-browser capabilities.
