Nah i didnt read that article equinox, tell me about it.
Well, I pretty much did. Two guys broke into a house to rob it or something. There was a 9 year old in the house. She was really good with guns and she had a shotgun. She shot both of them. They both died.

Yes, but this was the rare occasion that the parents had been responsible enough to train their child to properly use a weapon but at the same time had been irresponsible enough to leave a gun within the grasps of a child. Despite the fact that she was trained to use them children are more likely, IMO, to want to "show off" to their friends and cause accidents.

Yeah well in that case the gun would be beneficial no doubt. But I think this case is more of an anomoly. I would think , though im not sure, that more people die in their own homes from misuing guns.

This may or may not be true I have not looked up any statistics, which are normally biased anyway. However, I believe that people being the type of animals we are we will find ways to harm ourselves from the misuse of just about anything.

Well, I think my parents raised me well, I mean, I don't like be all cautious with everything, but, I know when I should be serious, I mean, I have acess to lots of weapons, but I don't touch them, ever, unless I need them, so I don't see how all of you see that people can't control themselves, but I mean, I guess I know people who are idiots... But lately I've been hanging out with the nerdy crowd, they're better...
Ah... I go children 5-12 and teens 13-18/19. My bad.

Obviously this is not a problem just a difference in views. However, psychology will tell you that teens and adults have about the same thought processes so I don't guess teens are children in mind.

Well, I know what you are saying, but personally, I was observing states where guns are allowed and I didn't notice much of an issuse, and I concluded taht statistically guns will bring more good than harm. But it's a matter of relation. No one knows until they actually legalize guns everywhere. And it depends on the country.

Rubbish. Teens are complete idiots. Children are a lot more balanced than teens. Teens THINK they are adults but they aren't.

Sorry Chaos, I include teens as children.
